Hi all. Brian here (the husband). We are very happy to launch this new design. Our goals include better navigation, site speed, and a better overall design for some of the amazing things we have planned this year. Hope you like it! (Don't fear change.)

For $250, attendees of the class have one-on-one instruction time with a stylist. "Everyone’s nervous," Blandi told the New York Times. "This is why we have Bellinis," he added. Find some of his tips from the class when you read more
I remember my mom getting her hair done back in the day by my aunt, the entire family's resident cosmetologist. Toward the end of the hair-dye processing time, my aunt would always sweep a little of the color on my mom's brows to enhance their tone.
What do you think about dying, or should I say coloring eyebrows? Is it an essential step in creating a cohesive look, or do you prefer to leave your brows natural?
Ah, a double-header debut of this season's America's Next Top Model — what more could a girl ask for? (OK, maybe more Nigel camera time.) It's too early in the season to choose a favorite model, but a few of them stand out. (Fo sho!) Were you paying attention to the beauty looks last night? Take this trivia quiz to find out.

I have a soft spot for Members Only. Back in the day, I rocked the Midwest in my khaki Members Only jacket. In recent times, my nostalgic nature got the best of me, and I strolled on over to eBay to purchase a larger version of the jacket to fit my adult body. I still love it, and wear it often. And now, the iconic brand, who recently launched a denim collection is now coming out with a line of brightly colored accessories, including some fun beauty bags ($28). The bags, just out now, include Turquoise, Fuchsia, Black Mock Crocodile, Metallic Snake, and Leopard Patent. There's no denying the '80s throwback style. Just add Journey and you're all set.
Whether you're male or female, hair loss is quite common. My sister has had recurring problems with alopecia areata for years, and through finding the right combination of products to treat it, she's pretty much alopecia-free. But in case it sneaks back into her life, I'll have to tell her about Organic Root Stimulator Fertilizing Serum Herbal Scalp Formula ($13), a relatively inexpensive treatment recommended by Bruce from Virginia. Take it away, Bruce:
"I have tried several products down to having the barber cut my hair very close to try and hide the receding hair. I puchased [this] product two weeks ago and my wife and my co-workers are telling me that they are starting to see new hair growing in the front and back of my balding spots. At first I thought that they were being kind, but I looked in the mirror, and for sure my bald spots are showing new growth. I wish I had taken pictures before I stated using [this] product."

Organic is a tricky word. From food to clothing, adding this simple claim may warrant higher prices on beauty items, but it offers no proof of what that really means. Since the US does not maintain standards for organic cosmetics and soaps, it's up to us as consumers to examine any beauty product ingredient list carefully.
However, with Chaé Organics, the botanicals used in the line of skin, body, and even pet care products are 100 percent certified organic or wild-crafted — and they're labeled ToxicFree. To earn this seal, it must have been reviewed and meet all of the requirements of the ToxicFree Foundation. In addition to the label, each certified ingredient has an asterisk helping you better understand what that means.

You might enjoy a cup of morning joe to help wake you up at the beginning of the day, but did you know that caffeine also has some beauty benefits, too? A stimulant, caffeine can help wake up skin by increasing circulation. It tones, smooths, and draws out impurities, too. Now that you know this tidbit of information, it probably makes more sense why this potent ingredient is often found in anticellulite creams, eh? Research also suggests that caffeine, taken both orally and topically, may provide anticarcinogenic properties.
Why all the talk about this pick-me-up (and legal) drug? March is National Caffeine Awareness Month. Woo hoo. So, I'll leave the fancy coffee drink recipes to Yum, but for your beauty fix, I've got the buzz on products inspired by or manufactured with caffeine. Check out my widget below:
