When the title of the film is Burlesque and Christina Aguilera is involved, you better believe there's going to be some glitter. In this video, Christina's makeup artist, Kristofer Buckle, shows us how to get the dazzling eye makeup palette featured in the movie's poster and on screen. It's a bold look, no doubt, but a perfectly festive option to wear to any upcoming holiday party. Check it out now.
Remember a few weeks back when Salma Hayek rocked a silk turban over a sleek bob? Well, it seems turbans are making their way back into fashion, as this retro trend is becoming more popular. This time around, however, it's with a more glamorous twist. While Solange Knowles channeled an African queen with a mud cloth print at a recent Guess party, singer Chrisette Michele sparkled in a glittery black version at the 2010 Soul Train Awards last night. As for celebrity stylist June Ambrose, she caught onto this trend early when she wore a different turban every day during 2011 Spring New York Fashion Week. Are you into this look? If so, how would you wear your turban?

In New York, a new law makes certain that salon owners supply staff with gloves and masks if requested. And in Washington state, officials in King County have been out educating nail salon staff members about utilizing better safety practices.
Some of the change is met with resistance, as a portion of owners feel that the act of covering up in masks and gloves can look bad to the clientele. Also, some say there's nothing really to worry about in the first place, as lots of polishes are already three free. To see more, just keep reading.

Winter's the right time for a bevy of cosmetic procedures, apparently, especially if you're considering laser tattoo removal, light or laser skin treatments and vein removal, aka sclerotherapy. It's not that there's something inherently better about colder weather when it comes to these procedures; it's just that you're more likely to be at your palest, which can be better for laser treatments. Also, you might be most likely to have ditched the fake tan that you use during the warmer months, which is an added bonus for laser addicts as you can't have the treatment done whilst wearing self-tan. Having a procedure like sclerotherapy performed during cooler months can come at an advantage too, as healing veins can be more easily covered with tights or pants — two items not frequently found in warm-weathered wardrobes! Is Winter the time that you think about getting laser and other cosmetic procedures done or do you just get it done as and when you need it, no matter the season?
It's almost the end of the Harry Potter flicks, my friends. Or more accurately, the happily ever after. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I arrives in theaters on Nov. 19, so to gear up for the occasion, we'd like to pay tribute to the young women of Hogwarts — and Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, to be accurate. So here are five of the things we loved best about Hermione, Luna, Ginny, and the rest of the gang.
Some people said cupcakes were just a fad, but from everything I've seen, these tiny, nomtastic cakes are definitely holding their own. And, thus, the proliferation of the cupcake soap. You could say you've seen all the delicious-looking faux cake soap that's out there, but think again. Care to test your luck? Then take my quiz and see.
