This is also a great tip for those of you who are growing out your hair to disguise those awkward in-between lengths. Bella suggestion: if heavy bangs aren't your thing, try a heavy side-swept bang, like Christina Ricci.
If you've ever watched Bethenny Frankel on The Real Housewives of New York, you know that she's got an opinion on EVERYTHING. Nothing is off-limits for the new mom — from some of the less pleasant aspects of breastfeeding ("The nipple chafing — chappy, chafing nipples") to her dog Cookie's bad behavior ("Cookie is problematic. She needs more therapy than you and I do"). We had the chance to catch up with her at a recent drugstore.com event where she shared her tips for busy girls. For her hilarious nuggets of knowledge, keep reading.
If you're like Jennifer Garner, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Gwen Stefani, perhaps Love's Baby Soft was also your first scent. I think we can all agree the powdery spray is pretty much the gold standard foray into the fragrance world. (If you're looking for something a bit more sophisticated, there are plenty of grown-up alternatives available.)

"It's been over a decade I've been using some product from Olay," the country singer said at a press conference today. "Olay is something that women trust. I now get to play more than I ever thought I'd get to play." Carrie will appear in an ad campaign beginning in November, and she'll then be the face of a few product launches in 2011. What do you think? Is she a good fit?
Square or blocky-tipped lipsticks are showing up all over the place, and it's not initially clear why you'd ever want to use a product that doesn't actually follow the shape of your lips. Here's the thing, though: these square tips aren't as good for quick daily application, but they do offer a great deal more control, and if you apply your lipstick with a lip brush, they load your color more evenly. Basically, if you're getting ready for a big event, really want a precise line, or use brushes instead of the stick itself, they're a superior choice. If you're curious to see whether you're hip to square lipstick, there's a wide range of options, from fancy products like new Hourglass Femme Rouge Velvet Creme Lipstick ($30) to bargains like Avon Mega Impact Lipstick ($8).
