Today Dolly Parton, one of my favorite people, turns 65 years old. While she certainly doesn't look her age, Dolly's whimsical, lively, and totally fun sense of style have been making their mark on American culture for decades now. Dolly's had some truly amazing, outrageous looks over the years, so in honor of her special day, I've gathered up 10 of my favorites. So raise a birthday toast to the Queen of Country, and check out some of her best moments.
We're putting it mildly by saying that German designer Patrick Mohr is fond of bizarre runway looks. For instance, last year's bearded ladies caused quite a stir. For his latest collection, shown today in Berlin, he sent models out with a decidedly creepy beauty look. Plastered-over eyebrows, glued-together mouths, and an overall pasty pallor made us wonder if this avant-garde style was inspired by none other than Lord Voldemort. (Perhaps if the Dark Lord popped in a stick of Beemans gum, only to have it stick to his Slytherin lips?) One thing's certain: Any designers hoping to out-weird Mohr have a considerable challenge on their hands.

The good news: You're keeping your New Year's resolution and hitting the gym at least three times a week. The not-so-good news: Your skin doesn't seem too happy with the sudden increase in activity, even though your mind and body are totally on board. Why can't they all just get along? If you find yourself with some unpleasant post-workout acne, don't let that be an excuse to keep you off the treadmill. Instead, follow this expert advice from dermatologist Dr. Hilary Reich to keep your complexion and body in their best condition.

If Gwen Stefani did a beauty commercial (which she now has as L'Oréal's most recently named spokesperson), what do you think it would look like? If lots of red lipstick and some Gwen tunage running in the background come to mind, you'd be right. Check out Gwen showing off her famous signature red lipstick as she sports funky menswear and splashes red paint on the wall with "Hollaback Girl" playing in the background. I might add: only Gwen can deliver L'Oréal's slogan, "Because we're worth it," with such cool attitude.
