Kelly Rowland attended the Birmingham auditions for The X Factor wearing a punchy pink and green makeup combination that was anything but preppy. You can get Kelly's fun, colorful look with just a few products, starting with a bold fuchsia lipstick ($7) and matching cream blush. Apply a bright, pea-green eye shadow ($7) to the upper and lower lids, and follow up with black liner and two coats of heavy-duty black mascara ($14). To get Kelly's sleek hairstyle, try clip-on bangs ($30), which will add instant polish to your look. Click on any of the products above to find out more information about each one.
And it seems that the brand's sentiments still ring true. In a recent interview with WWD, Jacobs noted that in the world of fashion, ideas and inspiration often overlap. He explained, "I look around the room and I look at the work we've done and a quote I always bastardize but I really believe in, is something [Coco] Chanel said: 'He who insists on his own creativity has no memory.'"
And as for what he's planning on doing regarding the likeness of Bieber's bottle to his own? It appears he won't be doing anything. "Coty said, 'Do we sue them?' and I said, 'You know what? Let everyone else say what they want.' . . . We're not going to do anything about it."
What do you think about Jacobs's statements? Do you agree with what he says about the fact that it's common for designers to borrow elements from each other, or do you think he should take action?
