We'll never get tired of listening to songs that celebrate the beauty and strength of Black women, and thanks to Ciara, there's now another Black girl power anthem that's already managed to snag a spot at the top of our playlists. The 34-year-old singer surprise dropped a new single on Nov. 21 titled "Melanin," and it's a star-studded ode to Black girls everywhere. The song features assists from Ester Dean, the City Girls, LaLa Anthony, and Lupita Nyong'o — yes, that Lupita Nyong'o.

"Hooked up with my girls @lupitanyongo @EsterDean @thegirljt @yungmiami305 @CityGirls and @LaLa to celebrate all my #Melanin Queens around the world," Ciara captioned an Instagram post announcing the song's release.

Nyong'o lent her musical talents to the track and rapped as her alter ego, Troublemaker, while Ester Dean helped produce it. Listen to "Melanin" in full in the video above.
