My Favorite Pieces From Deepika Padukone’s Pottery Barn Collection

Growing up in a suburban household, Pottery Barn was the place to get elevated, luxe home items. And as someone who is obsessed with "Friends," Pottery Barn became the ultimate "it" home store when I saw the "The One with the Apothecary Table" episode. From comfortable, plush couches to hosting-ready dining tables, browsing Pottery Barn's lineup in-store was always a treat.
When Pottery Barn announced its new collection with Deepika Padukone, my two worlds unexpectedly collided. One of my favorite home furnishing brands collaborating with my all-time favorite actress?! I had to have this in my life. Luckily, I got to try out some of the pieces from the Pottery Barn x Deepika Padukone Collection.
Padukone's Pottery Barn Collection for the US market features mostly bedroom pieces, including a duvet cover set, a quilt set, and a range of pillows and shams. It also has a few decor items you can place anywhere in your home, including a large, decorative candle, a picture frame set, and a hand-knotted rug. The collection is inspired by traditional textile designs and embroidery work from India with natural tones and a warm color palette. "My home has always been a calm refuge and is a space to express myself, create, and entertain," says Padukone in the press release. "We created a collection that encapsulates this through soft textures, a neutral palette, and intricate details."
Padukone also appreciates a vintage-inspired design, and this collection reflects the pieces that she has collected for her own home. Noting that her bedroom is her sacred space, she likes to keep it uncluttered and light. "I prefer neutral colors. They're softer on the eyes and on the mind," she says in the promotional video.
As a neutral girl myself, I knew this collection would be a great fit for my personal aesthetic as well. But the line is also versatile, whether you have a contemporary bedroom, a farmhouse space, or a boho abode. The intricate embroidery and patterns add an elegant, traditional look to your space, especially the bedding and accent shams. Plus, if you're a fan of Deepika Padukone like I am, this is a unique yet stylish way to treat yourself and your home.

A Candle From the Pottery Barn x Deepika Padukone Collection
Pottery Barn x Deepika Padukone Candle ($99)
As soon as I opened the box, I got a fragrant whiff of florals and warm, woody notes from this candle — the perfect combination. The six-wick candle is massive so I recommend using it in larger areas like a master bedroom or a living room, especially in spaces with an open floor plan so that the scent can linger throughout the home.
The candle is described as a santal and rose scent, and it has notes of sandalwood, rosewood, violet, patchouli, Moroccan rose, and verbena. It's a beautifully layered scent — in one breath I notice the fragrant rose notes, and in the next, I can feel the warmth and depth of the woodiness. Although it will definitely take a while to burn through this candle, once it is done I can still use the neutral-toned glass bowl as a catch-all, fruit bowl, or a decor item I can display.

Picture Frames From the Pottery Barn x Deepika Padukone
Pottery Barn x Deepika Padukone Frames ($129)
With white painted wood and brass detailing, this set of photo frames is a beautiful mix of rustic and glam elements, which can complement a wide range of decor aesthetics. Its textural feel also adds depth and dimension to wherever you place it, whether it's on your nightstand or vanity, on a side table, or even hanging on the wall.
I really like how these frames can help make a photograph or anything you want to display pop, specifically black-and-white pictures. The set includes a four-inch by six-inch frame and a five-inch by seven-inch frame. I do not have any pictures in the required dimensions in my apartment, but I was able to display a Polaroid in the smaller frame, and a meaningful quote from a Mindfulness Affirmations deck in the larger frame.

This quilt set is one of my favorite pieces from the collection, and what drew me to it was its traditional jacquard print. It perfectly encapsulates traditional design with a more modern spin thanks to its earthy, neutral tones.
I love how incredibly soft to the touch this feels, and it's made from 100 percent cotton. It's nearly buttery smooth but also lightweight and breathable, making it ideal for warmer temperatures. You can get this quilt set with shams in a full/queen and a king/California king sizing, as well as just the pillow shams in three sizes: standard, king, and Euro.

As soon as I set my bed with this duvet set, I instantly saw my bedroom transform into a luxe space. The embroidery on this duvet cover set is the epitome of traditional Indian design — it's something you'll see on all sorts of textiles, whether curtains, linens, or even clothing.
Beyond the embroidery, I love the stonewashed look of the set — it's both lived-in and cozy yet elevated. The texture of the linen-cotton blend makes it look like it's a raw silk material, which imparts a regal vibe as well. As someone with a more contemporary design preference, I like that it adds a touch of that traditional flair without being too obvious.
