You should know by now that Sunday is Father's Day, and with your help we've been able to organize all of your great gift ideas. Today we covered the sporty dad, and we'll be bringing you more guides (for each type of dad) all week. Last week we enlisted your help to find out what you were going to be gifting your father.
TeamSugar member brittanyk found a fantastic gift in the Sephora Scent Sampler for Him. I love this particular set because it allows your pop to sample eight different colognes, from Kenneth Cole to Yves Saint Laurent. Then, after your dad picks his favorite, he can bring in the included voucher to choose the full-size bottle of his selected scent. The best part is that the set also includes a shaving cream from Anthony Logistics.
Yesterday, I showed you what was coming for Fall, but in just a few short weeks, Nars Cosmetics is going to launch a stunning four-colored eye, three-colored lip, and two-colored cheek Bridal Palette ($65), which will be available exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue stores. The sleek, rubbery black case, looks just like their other famous, artist palettes, only this one is filled with nine of Nars' best-selling shades.
This palette is all you'll need for your honeymoon or even for the big day (well, while you're at it, throw in some foundation and mascara, too). In fact, it reminds me a lot of one of their discontinued palettes, which I used to haul around with me on holiday and to the gym — it's that amazing. There are a few changes in this version that are definitely for the better such as Albatross, a new powder highlighter and a perfect-pink lipstick in Roman Holiday — and trust me when I tell you this is something you won't want to miss. These fabulously fashionable charm necklaces from designer brands are the new "It" items of the season. Not only do they look pretty, but they're fully functioning cosmetic cases, too. Inside of these baubles by Dior, Missoni, and YSL are actual beauty products such as bronzer, creamy highlighter, and perfume. This is a second go-around from Missoni — last season they launched this limited-edition necklace, and it was so popular that they decided to bring it back for Summer 2008. These items make for great gifts and fun accessories — which is your favorite?
Missoni Solid Perfume Charm Necklace ($50) contains gold charms, rust-colored beads, and a large gold orb filled with .05 oz of Missoni perfume in a solid form.
The amber cabochon pendant in the Dior 'Golden Dior' Necklace ($55) contains a gold highlighter for the lips, eyes, and cheeks — and it hangs from a delicate satin ribbon.
I don't have much time to watch daytime TV these days, so I've missed seeing the gorgeous, part-Filipino singer, dancer, and actress, Nia Peeples on The Young and the Restless for the past year. Come to think of it, I haven't seen this triple threat since her days on the '80s hit TV show Fame.
Perhaps that's why I was so surprised to see her walk the red carpet yesterday at The Daytime Emmy Nominee Reception. I loved her hair way back when (c'mon, you all must have had a little bit of a girl crush on her) and I love it even more now. Out of these four hairstyles, which one do you think is the prettiest on Nia Peeples?
In honor of Sun Safety Week (June 8th-14th), I've decided to bring you a five-post series on beauty products that contain SPF. And I'm not talking SPF 4, 6, or 8, I'm talking the big numbers to keep your looks preserved, your skin protected and your body healthy and happy. Today's topic is facial moisturizers and below are three great products that have piqued my interest. What's your favorite SPF lotion?
I haven't tried anything from Ahava except for their Purifying Dead Sea Mask and I loved it, so when I heard that they launched a line of Mineral Sun Care products I was intrigued, especially with the Anti-Aging Moisturizer with SPF 50 ($25). It claims to guard your skin from both UVA and UVB rays and it's formulated for sensitive skin.
Last Summer, Kiehl's launched the UV Protective Face and Body Sunscreens with SPF 20 ($32.50), which I love. The big news is that they've already released the same version but with SPF 50 overseas and plan to launch it in the US next year — how's that for early buzz!
The sun creams are formulated with Mexoryl technology to ensure that UVA and UVB rays are blocked from penetrating your skin. They are photostable, non-greasy, fragrance-free and sweat resistant, however, they are lightweight in texture so they won't clog your pores.

It has been nearly a year since Kate Hudson announced that she was diving into the beauty business, and only now are we able to see the fruits of her labor. Kate, with stylist David Babaii, worked to create David Babaii for Wildaid. The 10-piece line currently consists of all the usual suspects like shampoos, conditioners, and pomades — with mousse and hairspray on the way — as well as a hair dryer and flat iron. The products are all in the mid-tier price range ($11.95 to $14.95) with the styling tools on the higher end of the scale ($119.95 for both the flat iron and the hair dryer), but the good news is that part of the proceeds will benefit the Wildaid wildlife protection program. I'm sold, how about you?

Kristin Cavallari went with a black-lace, bra-baring top at The Breeders' Cup Winners Circle Event in LA. She paired it with black skinny pants, and kept things neutral with beige patent pumps and a matching clutch.
