This June, American Beauty Cosmetics will launch its Summer Bouquet color story. Much like Flirt! Cosmetics (both are owned by the same company), the brand typically launches a new product or two every few months and then creates a seasonal look by blending the new products in with the old.
The inspiration for Summer Bouquet is all about florals, specifically perky pink roses. The new product for Summer is a peachy pink powder blush called Nectar Blossom. The face of the campaign is Ashley Judd, as usual, and this particular photo also doubles as an ad for its new Beloved fragrance.

After the success of Lovely and Covet, is it any surprise that Sarah Jessica Parker is working on another fragrance? The funny thing is, the first one almost didn't happen. In his book The Perfect Scent, journalist Chandler Burr reveals that many fragrance houses declined Sarah Jessica's perfume pitch. Coty, of course, said yes — and has enjoyed millions of dollars in sales because of that decision.
There hasn't been any official buzz on SJP's next scent, but during a recent press event to promote Sex and the City, she revealed what perfume she's been wearing. "It’s a genderless one I have been working on for about six months," she explained. "I wore this a lot when I was shooting the movie."

Log In to Win! If you haven't entered my latest contest, do it n-o-w. Take the quiz and you could win a Vanessa Bruno sequined tote bag filled with a bevy of Bobbi Brown Beach products. Not too shabby, eh?
Few things go together as well as drag performers and makeup — especially because I've seen some performers whose deft eyeliner skills trounce mine. In this quiz, you'll need to guess whether a given product name belongs to a beauty product or to a female impersonator. It'll be just a divine challenge, don't you think?
Today's foundations are so much better than what was available even five years ago. The days of masklike foundation are pretty much over, and now you can actually score shades that look like skin rather than makeup. Napoleon Perdis Light-Diffusing Makeup ($42) is one of my recent finds; it contains particles that reflect light, which helps mask imperfections. It makes my skin look eerily perfect, but it looks so natural that an esthetician recently assumed I wasn't wearing makeup. All in all, it's great for those days when you want to look a little more polished than usual.
And yet, after digging around a bit, I'm terribly disappointed at the same time. To find out why you'd be overpaying for this product, read more
This weekend, I joined dozens of lovely ladies in LA for Total Beauty's beauty blog summit. One of the highlights was a day-long tour of some of the city's poshest primping places, including the top places where the A-list get gorgeous. Read on to see some of the best sites from the day.
Model, actress and mother Amber Valletta's latest hairstyle is bright, blonde, and feathered. I've always pictured her with light hair, but over the last eleven months, she's gone from dark brown to dirty blonde with gingery-colored low-lights. Something I've also noticed is that she's not big on wearing lots of makeup, not even to events, which I think is cool. Some people are just very comfortable in their own skin. Which hair color do you like the best on Ms. Valletta?
Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.
