Whose Wavy Updo/Red Lip Combo Looked Better at the Emmys?

The similarities between Drew Barrymore and Hayden Panettiere's hair and makeup last night were shockingly similar, and judging by the comments you made for both Drew and Hayden in my love it or hate it polls, you noticed it, too.

The similarities between Drew Barrymore and Hayden Panettiere's hair and makeup last night were shockingly similar, and judging by the comments you made for both Drew and Hayden in my love it or hate it polls, you noticed it, too. Besides the heavier-handed makeup application and the addition of a darker liner on Hayden, the two blond actresses could have passed for sisters or long-lost relatives with their matchy-matchy wavy updos and red lips. Even their eye colors and bronzy eye shadow shades bear a strong resemblance. But if you had to choose, which Emmy-goer gets your vote?

What Was the Biggest Surprise of the Emmy Awards?

The Emmys started out with a bang last night, and not just because of Neil Patrick Harris's amazing opening number.

The Emmys started out with a bang last night, and not just because of Neil Patrick Harris's amazing opening number. The first few awards handed out were big shockers, though the end of the night mirrored last year's show when Mad Men and 30 Rock took home the top honors. I was both happy and disappointed with the night's shakeups, but what do you think was the biggest surprise of the Emmys?

I'm totally impressed with the Emmys red carpet this year!

I'm totally impressed with the Emmys red carpet this year! There was some good variety, experimentation, and color. This lineup of the bests of the night are all different; and it was really tough narrowing it down. I have a few favorites, and you're looking at a couple of them — who was yours?!

2009 Primetime Emmy Awards: Jenna Fischer

For Jenna Fischer's look this evening, it's her lightly braided updo that takes center stage.

For Jenna Fischer's look this evening, it's her lightly braided updo that takes center stage. Notice how her honey-toned highlights are perfectly placed, peeping out in all the right places. She keeps her makeup in the pink color family, which creates a harmonious effect. As Pam on The Office, her sharp wit is what we love about her so much, but when it comes to Jenna's red carpet look tonight, is she sharp in the fashionable sense, or does it fall a bit flat?

What Do You Think About the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series?

Bryan Cranston is taking home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Breaking Bad for the second consecutive year.

Bryan Cranston is taking home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Breaking Bad for the second consecutive year. He beat out Simon Baker, Michael C. Hall, Hugh Laurie, Gabriel Byrne, and Jon Hamm.

As much as I wanted to see Jon Hamm grace the podium, Cranston is definitely deserving of the statue. What do you think of this win? Vote on all my Emmy Awards polls here!

2009 Primetime Emmy Awards: Jennifer Love Hewitt

We have not seen a lot of yellow tonight, but Jennifer Love Hewitt brought some sunshine to the red carpet in her flowing strapless chiffon gown.

We have not seen a lot of yellow tonight, but Jennifer Love Hewitt brought some sunshine to the red carpet in her flowing strapless chiffon gown. Her long curls eliminate the need for a necklace. Do you love it or hate it?
