Whether you loved it or hated it, you have to admit: Katy Perry brought on the fun in her CuteCircuit glow-in-the-dark gown at last night's Costume Institute Gala. Little did we know the colors changed from pink to orange to blue to green! She clearly shined some bright lights on the fabulous afterparties. Examine these colors, then tell me — which fluorescent hue is most Fab?
It's not quite the time of year we usually see beachy waves and curls, but it seems Kristen's starting us off a little early. With hair like that, a smoky eye was the only eye makeup that could really amp up the sex kitten feel, and Kristen duly wore a gray shadow, complementing it with golden-pink lip gloss. It's hardly the first time we've seen this look done on the red carpet, but do you think it was a safe bet for Kristen?

Tons of stars have come out with nearly-bare faces tonight, but few looked as lovely as Rosario. Wearing neutral colors on her eyes and cheeks, and a beautiful creamy nude lipstick on her lips, and completing the look with an easy, natural-looking bun, she may have created my favorite no-makeup makeup look of the evening. When wearing a plum gown with emerald accessories, going overboard on the cosmetics might be tempting, but Thandie Newton kept it tame. Instead of matchy-matchy sparkly green shadow or purple lipstick, the actress opted for a subtle pink makeup palette instead. A touch of winged-out black liner on the eyes gave her look a bit of edge, but without the excess. Do you like Thandie's understated hair and makeup look, or do you wish she would have gone with some punchier shades?

I think we can all agree that Mila Kunis has turned out to be quite the stunner. Perhaps her most unique feature are her piercing hazel eyes, which she draws attention to with a contrasting purply-pink shadow. Perfectly-shaped brows and a loose and wavy updo give the look a fresh, romantic finish. But are you crazy about Kunis?

Abbie's had a whole slew of new roles recently, and her Hollywood recognition factor is getting higher every day, so it makes sense that she went for a look befitting a starlet tonight. Soft, tousled curls that look like they came from an earlier era, just-bitten pink lips, and heavy lashes comprised her look. This is exactly how I'd expect to see Summer Roberts arrive at the Met Gala. Yes, I know this is actually Rachel Bilson, but I do feel like she's channeling her OC character here. I think it's mostly the hair, which has a distinctly casual/California vibe. But, it totally is amped up by the bold makeup and fabulous gown. This one wins in my book, how about you?

This year's Met Gala theme is the American Woman, so it's no surprise the best dressed of the night embraced glamour, ease, and red, white, and blue! From glittering gowns, to sculptural cuts, to party frocks, to screen siren salutes, it comes down to five beautiful babes. Some American designers made the final cut, but you and I couldn't refuse some European and Lebanese flavor. This one's a toughie — who ruled?

Kristen Davis might not share too many characteristics with Charlotte, but they both have a slightly more conservative bent when it comes to dressing. Tonight, Kristen went with a simple half updo, and kept her makeup soft and neutral. It's a look that she wears a lot, and it defintely works for her.
