The five ladies that looked particularly Fabworthy were Ashley Greene in her black and white mini, Sofia Vergara in a sequined LBD, Eva Marcille in a funky mini frock, Emma Stone in badass leather, and Selena Gomez in a sexy bustier-style metallic gown. Rihanna didn't walk the red carpet at the VMAs, but she did turn in a performance with Eminem wearing pretty waved extensions and a cool flapper-inspired rhinestone headband. It's not just the ladies who worked the carpet at tonight's awards — the gentlemen turned it up when they stepped out, too. Just feast your eyes on Penn Badgley in denim and leather, Jared Leto in gray leather and combat boots, and Justin in his signature black leather jacket thrown over suited separates. Still, if you prefer something a little more slick, check out the boys in suits: Ne-Yo in a creamy palette and hat, and Usher in all black with a scarf and a pink lapel. When it comes to Evan Rachel Wood's hair color, you never know what you're going to get. She wore her latest hue, a vibrant copper, styled in modern-looking retro waves. A deep side-part gave it something a little extra special, and a contrasting raspberry-toned lip finished off the look. It was a bold and daring palette, no doubt about it. Hayley Williams, the lead singer of Paramore, is always adorably punky, but she also has a polished side. At the VMAs, she wore a prim and proper bun and sweet pink eye shadow. Her tangerine hair still kept things quirky, but it was a little more subdued than we're used to seeing on her.
