Cream Eyeliner

I test a lot of waterproof eyeliner, and while some of it's nothing to write home about, the majority do a relatively good job. However, not all of the products I test are as gentle as Tarte EmphasEYES Waterproof Clay Shadow/Liner ($22). This stuff is so non-irritating that I couldn't even feel it on. I'm fairly certain that even though I wear contacts and have sensitive eyes, I could poke myself in the cornea with some of it and not notice. It's also a lot less weird-ingredient heavy than a lot of liners out there, although not entirely natural. It wears just as well, in my opinion, as my beloved Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils ($17) and Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes ($17), and I like the cream formula because it allows you a lighter, more subtle application. My only qualm is with the price—it's a little up there, and comparable products from other brands are about five dollars less. However, if you're looking for something waterproof and you've got sensitive eyes, I'd say it's a good option.
