What We're Sweet On: Larger Than Life Lip Gloss

Flirt Cosmetics' Big Flirt lip gloss ($16) is not for those who like a light-on-color, light-on-texture gloss.

Flirt Cosmetics' Big Flirt lip gloss ($16) is not for those who like a light-on-color, light-on-texture gloss. Not only is the tube, wand, and applicator much larger than your average gloss, but the shine factor is off the charts as well. But this isn't the superslick, full-on wet look that dominated red carpets, magazines, and just about everywhere else circa 2000.

Instead, it's all about a lustrous finish. (No chunky glitter particles here!) And because it's so rich, it lasts forever, with the wand dispensing just the right amount of product and sheer color. For a flattering option that will have you receiving compliments just as colossal as the product itself, try Coral Me Fabulous.

Heather Morris Flirts With Flirt! Cosmetics

With those dim-witted one-liners from Brittany S.

With those dim-witted one-liners from Brittany S. Pierce, Glee's Heather Morris has practically stolen the show. And now, the talented star — seriously, her dancing skills are out of this world — has something else in the works, as she's just been named Flirt! Cosmetics' new ambassador. "Brittany is the biggest flirt on Glee, so there's that — not to mention I'm obsessed with the Flirt makeup," Heather explained to WWD on her decision to partner with the makeup line.

Heather names the brand's lip color in Tootsie ($12) as her top pick. According to Flirt!'s Twitter page, Heather's doing a photo shoot with them today, and in the future she'll even be making in-store appearances at Kohl's, where the products are sold. Stars like Mila Kunis, Serena Williams, and Vanessa Minnillo have all represented Flirt! in the past, but do you think Heather's the best fit yet?

BellaSugar's Top Five Sex Kitten Lip Glosses

Below are my top five favorite lip gloss options for sultry, sex-kitten lips.

Below are my top five favorite lip gloss options for sultry, sex-kitten lips. These pale pinks and peaches (sans shimmer, glitter or any kind of opalescence for that matter) cool down the natural flesh tone of your lips to an icy finish and look the hottest when paired with a smoky eye. Which of your lip glosses makes you feel the sexiest?

  • Scott Barnes Flossy Glossy in Meow ($22) is a peachy-pinky gloss that has a little bit of a chalky effect without the matte finish. It blends easily and looks amazing alone or over a nude lipstick.
  • MAC Lip Glass in Underage ($14) is a soft, pale-pink, high-shine lip gloss. Rumor has it that it's also Carmen Electra's fave (talk about a sex kitten personified)!

Coming Soon: Flirt! Cosmetics Bright on Summer 2008 Collection

Every season Flirt! Cosmetics gathers a few old and a few new items to create a themed color story of the season.

Every season Flirt! Cosmetics gathers a few old and a few new items to create a themed color story of the season. For Summer 2008, the look is called Bright On! This four-product combination includes a creamy eye shadow, a deep-violet mascara, a dark-purple eyeliner pencil (in my absolute favorite color, Purple Rain — it's so dark it looks almost black) and a brand-new lip balm with SPF 12 called Flirt-Tinis.

Flirt-Tinis are sheer, conditioning, limited-edition glossy balms that moisturize lips while providing a little bit of shimmer. I love that they glide on smooth without any of the tackiness of a goopy lip gloss. Including Fizzy Pink (the featured color), three additional shades will also be available in June online and in Kohl's department stores.

The inspiration for Bright On! comes from the pop color runway trend. These shades are vibrant, but they're also wearable since they can be layered to create anything from understated to bold. They also touch on the purple trend that is apparently carrying over from Fall and Spring. To read more about each of the items in the Bright On! color story, read more

New Product Alert: Flirt! Cosmetics Glamourazzi Lip Lacquer

Flirt! Cosmetics has just introduced a shiny treat called Glamourazzi Lip Lacquer ($12).

Flirt! Cosmetics has just introduced a shiny treat called Glamourazzi Lip Lacquer ($12). Only three shades are out now, but come April, expect to see twelve more gorgeous glosses ranging from translucent to ruby red.

What makes these noteworthy is that the formula is a cross between a smooth opaque lipstick and a shiny gloss — however, this product isn't one-of-a-kind. If it reminds you of the November lip launch from Chanel then we're on the same page. But before you label it a knockoff, can you blame them for trying to re-create genius? As the saying goes, imitation is the best form of flattery.

The benefits of this breed of lip product are unmatched. You get more color and more staying power than a gloss, and they are not nearly as flat nor as drying as a lipstick.

The major differences between the two products is that the Flirt! brand uses shimmer, the cost is (significantly) lower and the texture is thicker. I happen to like both of them, but I like them for different reasons. The Flirt lacquer has more of a glossy look and feel, while the Chanel lacquer is more of a creamy lipstick with a little bit of shine. I'll leave it to you to test them out on your own.

Coming Soon: Flirt! Cosmetics Totally Bronze Collection

I haven't seen a group of warm, neutral shades like this new Flirt!

I haven't seen a group of warm, neutral shades like this new Flirt! Cosmetics Totally Bronze Spring Color Collection in some time. All of the colors are tame and flattering, letting you get a sun-goddess look without laying out in the sun. There are golden peachy-pinks for the eyes, lips and cheeks and golden bronze shades for the face. These are transition products than can take you from the first peek of spring all the way through the end of summer.

I've been playing around with all seven of the products for about a week now, and I've grown especially fond of Show-Stopper, a shimmery and versatile coppery-shell colored powder eye shadow. Also, the Foxy Bronze bronzer is a true golden brown, without any signs of orange. The collection will be available at Kohl's and online this March. Coming Soon: Flirt! Cosmetics Glamourazzi

Looking for a new fragrance to get you all geared up for the red carpet or a big night on the town?

Looking for a new fragrance to get you all geared up for the red carpet or a big night on the town? If so, the latest launch from Flirt! has your name all over it. Glamourazzi comes packaged in a gold sequined box that looks like a disco ball! Now of course, you aren't going to be sold on the packaging alone, but fortunately, what's inside is also something to get revved up about.

The bottle houses an electrifying blend of fruits and florals, which will definitely grab your attention. Think of biting into a pineapple so juicy that it runs down your chin. Mix it with flowers, vanilla, and ginger and you're there. This is a fragrance you'll want to wear to get noticed. It's perfect for a night out dancing, since your scent will linger as you move. It's very strong (so don't go overboard) and very sweet, but it's also sensual.

I know that I have to let The Fashionista Diaries go already, but remember the episode when Bridget and Andrew had to find the perfect gold dress for the ad, and Janjay and Tina helped with the photo shoot? Can you believe it's taken this long to turn around in real life? Glamourazzi is due in stores just before Valentine's Day in a 1.7 oz. bottle for $35.

Product Review: Flirt! Cosmetics Plushious Lip Gloss

After all of the hype that I've heard about this Plushious Liquid Velvet Lipcolor from Flirt!

After all of the hype that I've heard about this Plushious Liquid Velvet Lipcolor from Flirt! Cosmetics I just had to try it. I'm so happy that I did; Now I'm so addicted that I don't leave home without it! The texture alone is worth writing home about. It's not too sticky, not too goopy and has more of a creamy, lipsticky feel. It has just the right amount of tackiness mixed in so that you still feel like you're wearing a gloss.

The shade that I tried is called Nude Kiss. It was recommended by JanJay Sherman and Tina Precious, two reality TV stars from The Fashionista Diaries. Thanks to them, I might have found the world's most perfect peach.

The color doesn't make your lips look flat, pale or washed out. Instead, it brightens them up with a sheer hint of warmth and creates a glass-like effect. And, since it costs just $10, I won't feel bad replenishing my stock as often as necessary. I am even thinking of getting one for each of my girlfriends for the holidays.

And just so you don't think I am selling the stuff or anything, I do have one complaint about the gloss: I don't care for its awkward-sounding "plushious" name. What is that supposed to infer, anyway? It's not a plumper so it's probably not supposed to mean plump lips, but plush lips and lush lips don't really make any sense. I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

Now that you are all up to speed with all of the beauty secrets from one of my favorite reality TV stars, Janjay Sherman from The Fashionista Diaries, let's take a closer look at what's inside her cosmetics case. Janjay was cool enough to talk to me about the makeup products she loves from none other than her employer, Flirt! Cosmetics.

Her go-to-product is Plushulicious Liquid Velvet Lipcolor in Nude Kiss, which also happens to be former co-star and co-worker Tina Patient's gloss of choice.

Coincidence? I think not. These two friends still make it a point to speak on the phone almost every day. (I love what a little healthy competition can do for a friendship!)

Janjay not only loves doing PR for Flirt! but she's got a knack for makeup application as well. For this photo shoot, she did her own makeup and if you're wondering which colors she's wearing, read more

They are sent to three different companies and their days are recorded in a documentary-reality style.

In the final episode, after New York Fashion Week is over, we learn that Janjay Sherman lands a job at Flirt! Cosmetics. Through hard work, sincerity and a strong personality, she won over the heart of her boss Kathleen Pierce. Yesterday I was lucky enough to score an interview with her.
