Last night was totally OMG-worthy, except for the creepy Bart's ghost bits. I was a little worried for Chuck's sanity there, but now that his mom is probably alive (in a General Hospital-worthy twist), well, things should get even more exciting. It was a very special episode, with lots of family, booze, making out, and absurd fighting, all orchestrated to my second-favorite Imogen Heap song. So, you know, a regular Thanksgiving. Yay Gaga! Otherwise, though, this episode was sad on so many levels. No one is loved, and everyone except Chuck and Rufus has apparently lost the ability to be funny. Say it ain't so, S and B! I doubt that Serena and Blair's friendship is actually over, but it'll probably take at least another 10 episodes before they reconcile. Everyone's on the outs these days, but at least they all look fabulous (Nate is at his cutest when he's brooding, no?). There were also a couple of big "mysteries" this episode, but the most mystifying thing to me was Serena's braid, though at least she did something different with her hair. So how are you doing? Whoa, there, Serena. I love that star barrette you're wearing, but you best slow your roll. Seriously, last night's episode was pretty ridiculous for a number of reasons, not the least of which was the tongue-in-cheek Endless Knights bodice-ripping. On the other hand, though, the hair and makeup at the speakeasy were divine. So. Everyone on the show is a jerk. Last night, I was so embarrassed for Blair that I had to hide my head in the couch cushions for a minute. This episode was hard on almost all the characters, even Lily, whose sad pep talk was the kind of thing that goes down in the too-honest-parenting hall of fame. Is it just me, or was Chuck Bass for reals creepy last night? Between stroking his chin lasciviously over Little J and saying enigmatic things about DUMBO, the Chuckster was at least certainly on a very smarmy roll. Luckily, this episode also had a ton of great beauty moments to focus on, and a tear-filled, crazy-eyes guest appearance by one 
Eep! Turns out Bree is a lot more cruel and unusual than she first appeared to be. Between her and Georgina, the season is undoubtedly going to get nastier. I'm glad Chuck and Blair aren't breaking up; their respective evils make them perfect for one another, as Serena suggested. With everything that happened this ep, were you looking at the style?
