I am flirting with the idea of switching salons. The only problem is I am a bit hesitant to try a new stylist. My budget doesn't exactly call for trial and error, so the one I choose has to work out. I did my research and checked out the websites of the salons I'm most interested in, however, I am a little overwhelmed. Do you guys have any advice when it comes to choosing a new stylist? After a string of rather mediocre cuts, I recently went to a salon and spent more than I've ever spent before on a cut. I did a lot of research on Yelp before making the dent in my budget. In the long run, the stylist's meticulous work was worth it. (And I even got a complimentary hand and scalp massage, too.) What about you? Have you set a cap on how much you'll spend for a cut?
