Poppy King, the Australian behind the Lipstick Queen line, has a great sense of personal style. That's evident in this hand-printed, limited-edition Poppy Mini Purse ($75) designed by Katherine Kin, a patternmaker who works with fashion designer Alice Roi. And when I say limited edition, I'm not talking about a few thousand that will be around throughout the holidays. I'm telling you about this now, since only 100 pouches have been created.

Inside the black and red pouch you'll find a naughty and nice surprise: two of Lipstick Queen's best-selling lipsticks. One is Saint Red (a sheer red lipstick) and Red Sinner (an opaque red lipstick). It's the sort of luxe stocking stuffer any lipstick addict dreams of. The mini purse has already gone on sale at select Barneys stores, and my guess is that it will sell out before it even hits the Internet. New from Laura Mercier is her gorgeous 2007 Holiday Diamond Collection. Inspired from the peaceful shimmer of freshly fallen snow, this line brightens the eyes, makes lips looks soft, and will make your body glisten.

The collection includes five new products, each of which have been created to make you look white-hot. But the star product is not actually a makeup item, it's a softer-than-soft fluffy Diamond Duster powder brush made from pure Marabou feathers.

Stila is one of my favorite brands for when you just want to look pretty, and I usually pick up a few of its holiday items. Every year, Stila has some gorgeous holiday kits, and this time around is no exception. I'm daydreaming about this Glamour Galore set ($150), which contains $400 worth of product. I'd list it all out, but frankly, the picture has more of a "wow" factor than a list would. Let's just say that if the idea of having five lip glosses, two lipsticks, and a slew of eye shadows is your holiday wish, you should let Santa know about this set.

Each year, American Beauty Cosmetics puts together a Holiday 2007 look. When you go into Kohl's (where it is sold exclusively), you can pick up one of these 'look cards' and all of the products used in the photo are listed. Usually there is one new product in the group and the rest are already existing shades, but this year there are two new products: a Luxury for Lids Eyeshadow Duo in Champagne Toast and Pretty Glossy Luscious Lipshine in Gala Pink.

This card is intended to facilitate your getting-ready process. For example, when it's time to do your makeup for a big night out, you don't have to think about what colors will complement each other since the colors are already chosen for you! This season, the look is called Winter Wonderland, featuring Ashley Judd.

If lip gloss is a little of what you fancy, then you are going to love this Precious Carat Lip Gloss Jewel in Diamond Splendor from Lancome. This diamond shaped paperweight is filled with clear, sparkly lip gloss. I have a feeling it's going to give you more butterflies than getting an actual diamond!

At first when I heard about it I thought, "Eh, this is probably just another holiday marketing ploy. Take an already existing product, throw a crystal on it and jack up the price." But I was wrong: this is really adorable. And the $40 price tag makes it a terrific present for anyone who goes gaga over beauty products and bling!

The case is made from shiny (and heavy) silver metal and crowned with a giant Swarovski Crystal that has the trademark Lancome flower embossed at the bottom. Inside is home to a less-sticky, less goupy version of their Color Fever Lip Gloss. Also, it contains flecks of gold glitter! If chic is what you seek, this is the gloss for you!

When I went to Bloomingdale's the other day, I was a really good girl—I just looked at all of the holiday collections and held off on buying anything. One that was really difficult to resist was Dior's Limelight collection, which uses some gorgeous colors to create a soft, shimmery look. Like Guerlain and MAC, it's heavy on the gold—but it's a soft gold, not a brassy one.

Oh yeah! Did you ever think it was possible to fall in lust with your makeup? This new Nars Night Series Mini Eye Shadow Palette from the Siren Song 2007 Holiday Collection is swoon-worthy. Perfect for any night out, but especially New Year's Eve, this palette contains colors from the "night" line. It features two new shades from the latest collection: Night Song and Night Rider.

Plus, for $55 you get six shadows that are about half the size of a full single eyeshadow. Since one of those sells for $21, it's not a bad deal, eh? Keep in mind that these metallic shadows are pretty delicate, so you'll want to keep them protected so that they don't crumble. (I learned this the hard way.) Also, this is a limited-edition item, so there's not a whole lot of time to sit on the fence—so if you're going to go for it, do it quickly. I have a feeling this could be an item that sells out.

I'm loving Givenchy's beautiful, sparkling silver 2007 Holiday Collection. The line exudes all things glamorous, from its chic sleek black packaging to its exclusive pale pink pop of color. To ring in the new year with glitz and glamour, Chanel Beauté designers Dominique Moncourtois and Heidi Morawetz have created a makeup collection in light, sparkling shades reminiscent of the winter sun. The formulas all have satin and iridescent characteristics to them, which leaves your skin looking radiant and golden. All products are currently available in stores and online.
