Colorist Johnathan Gale has worked with stars from Kirsten Dunst to Lady Gaga, and unsurprisingly, he knows hair color. (We love his tips for red hair.) While most of us can't score an appointment with him, he's happy to make house calls in the form of his new hair care line, Couture Color. The collection's star ingredient is the Brazilian pequi nut, whose oil is used in every product. Nine shades of ammonia- and paraben-free color kits ($30) are the showcase, but those of us who don't color may be interested in Couture Color's pequi oil treatment ($32). Top stylist David Babaii is already using it on clients like Sandra Bullock, and we've found it to be an extremely lightweight smoothing serum that adds shine. If you're interested in learning more about Gale, turn on your TV this weekend; he'll be on air for the line's HSN launch.
