Chase Away Chapped Lips

If you're anything like me, you love your lip products!

If you're anything like me, you love your lip products! In the past we've covered lots of great lip balms and many different lip scrubs, but here are a few more products new to the market that I know you won't want to miss. Not only are these items must haves for yourself, but at $15 or less, they also make fab stocking stuffers!

Karma Creatives Karma Therapy Buddha Balm ($3) is a lip balm that comes in a variety of fruit flavors (grapefruit, cherry vanilla, strawberry, and watermelon) packed in an adorable slender vintage slider. Not only does it contain natural sunscreen and keep your lips feeling silky smooth in the harsh winter months, but at just .3 ounces it's an easy fit into any clutch or small pocket. Who could resist keeping a little good karma close by? Since the products aren't sold online, you can click here to find a stockist closest to you.

New Product Alert: Karma Creatives Spring/Summer Collection

When I first came across the Karma Creatives brand, I liked the hip pampering products, but I didn't love 'em.

When I first came across the Karma Creatives brand, I liked the hip pampering products, but I didn't love 'em. The packaging was a little cheesy, and the fruity scents were tad overwhelming. When your brand is all about a gimmick — in this case "karma in a soap," "karma in a can," and so forth — appearances are very important. So I was glad to see that with its new Spring/Summer 2007 collection, Karma Creatives has expanded its offerings and given its packaging a makeover.

I particularly love the Karmatherapy Travel Pack ($28, above). Clad in subtle sea-tones, it offers all kinds of mini-products that are usually tough to find in travel sizes, including cherry-blossom conditioner and cucumber-aloe face wash. For the other highlights, read more

Get Some Good Karma

Do you ever wish you could just buy some good karma?

Do you ever wish you could just buy some good karma? Now you can, thanks to a kitschy new line of cosmetics, called Karma Creatives. I was a bit skeptical of this company when I first came across its signature product, the Karma in a Can Purified Water Mister, which is basically just a refreshing spray-bottle of unscented water fortified with herbal essences like ginseng and aloe.

The rest of the product line, however, has since won me over with yummy scents like Red Currant Zen, Green Tea Leaf, and my personal favorite, Mandarin Orange Mango. Karma's pampering products—including scented soy candles, lip balms, and bath salts—are sold in hip locales like Kitson in Los Angles and Beverly Hills Beauty Center, as well as in Hot Topic stores. I recommend checking them out, particularly the Karma in a Hand Creme in Mandarin Orange Mango.
