Everyone is talking about Beyoncé Knowles's neon orange nails from yesterday's inauguration ceremony, but her makeup was also flawless (as usual). Makeup artist Mally Roncal worked to prepare the star for her epic performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner."
After prepping skin with primer, concealer, foundation, and powder, Roncal recommends using a combination of highlighter and blush on cheeks for a flush that is natural yet radiant. Then, to mimic Beyoncé's eye makeup, apply Mally Shadow Stick in Saddle Shimmer ($25) on the lid and underneath the eye. You can lighten up the look by placing highlighter to the inner corners of the eye, as well. And to get Beyoncé's cat-eye eyeliner look, layer two products: a pencil topped with a liquid, for long-lasting wear. Finally, swipe on High Shine Liquid Lipstick in Mally's Baby ($20) for a similar glossy pink lip. And don't forget to apply a translucent powder before you hit the road, so makeup will last from morning to night.
