Mineral makeup just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Mode Cosmetics has just released its first-ever Natural Skin Mineral Powder foundation ($8). The texture is weightless in feel yet rich in pigment, so a little goes a long way. The result is a flawless, matte airbrushed effect. The formula contains cocoa, a powerful antioxidant, which happens to also makes it smell really good.
And hey, just in case you wanted something to talk about at an upcoming Passover Seder, why not mention that your makeup is certified kosher!
Additionally, it's noncomedogenic, fragrance free, oil free, and suited for even the most sensitive skin since it contains only three pure (and vegan) ingredients. Natural Skin Mineral Powder Foundation is available in 10 colors ranging from ivory to chocolate and can be found in supermarkets, pharmacies, and online.

Well, well, well. I wasn't so sure that this trend would ever catch on, but if Rihanna's wearing it, most likely fans will soon follow suit. The singer paid close attention to detail during New York Fashion Week. Not only is she sporting the newest yellow spring nail trend but she's followed FabSugar's advice by balancing out the yellow out with a grey dress — A+ Rihanna! Here are two pretty primary yellow polishes for you to check out. What do you think of this trend?
Mode Cosmetics Nail Enamel in Couture ($3) is a rich creamy nail polish that is made with high concentrations of natural mineral mica and camphor to coat nails with sheer to full coverage. The bright and bold fun yellow is both trendy and pretty for Spring, but why not be fashion-forward like Rihanna and start wearing it now?

I am happy to announce the launch of a new lip treatment product called Lip Juice from MODE Cosmetics. This nourishing lip product is bursting with flavor (and aromatherapy)! It also hydrates, nourishes, moisturizes and conditions lips without feeling slimy or greasy.
With just one squeeze, you'll fall in love with Lip Juice's texture. It looks like a gloss, but glides on like a balm—it's as smooth as buttah, literally. Lip Juice is made from organic shea butter, kosher sweet almond oil, grape-seed oil, avocado oil, and kosher lanolin. Plus, at $4.50, you can get three for the price of one designer gloss! It is available in nine colors, so for a description on each gloss read more
Last week I had the pleasure of interviewing Cristina Samuels, co-owner and co-founder of Mode Cosmetics. Mode, which also means fashion in French, is the end result of a sister pair who were raised around the family's cosmetics business their whole lives.
Growing up in Albany, New York, Cristina and her sister Jennifer Isaac would mix their own special colors and create new cosmetics using natural ingredients that they liked for their bodies. For example, they loved the way that shea butter felt on their hands, so they thought: why not add this to lipsticks?
The sisters always had a huge passion for color and creation and today, Mode Cosmetics now has over 250 products and colors. They have over 90 colors of nail enamel alone - pretty amazing! Their collection consists of: lip balms, aromatherapy lip glosses, lip tints, lip lacquers, lipsticks, lip liners, roll on lip glosses, mascara, roll on (pure mica) mineral eye shadows, mascara, cream blush/highlighter sticks, and nail polishes.
