Doing your own makeup for your wedding or other celebratory event is one of the easiest ways to save time and money. And at Isaac Mizrahi's bridal show, the entire beauty look was centered on this DIY mantra. In fact, makeup artist Romy Soleimani for Stila Cosmetics on Beauty.com used only five key products to create this natural glow.

"It looks like she didn't bring in a huge army of people to do her makeup, a kind of unfinished look where just slightly enhanced," said Stila lead artist Jason Araujo. This high-sparkle look from the Angel Sanchez Bridal runway has avant-garde bride written all over it. "We wanted to give the idea and suggestion of the headdress or the veil without doing it so literally," hairstylist Leonard Zagami said. "It's very young and very romantic with some idea of wedding tradition to it, but nothing very contrived."

At New York International Bridal Week, the team at Badgley Mischka devised a hairstyle inspired by Wallis Simpson, Duchess of Windsor. But instead of the socialite's precise center part, lead stylist Peter Gray for Moroccanoil opted for a less intense look, explaining, "I like the idea of taking something severe and softening it."
