I haven't used Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask ($21) since college, so when I came across reader voxtrotlous's review of the pore- and pimple-clearing treatment, I got all nostalgic. But is it worth the purchase? Find out what today's reviewer had to say below:

It's not a complete dud of a product. It's less that 20 bucks, so it's not anything you can complain about. All I'm saying [is that it] doesn't really do what it says it will. . . It made [my skin] a little bit smoother, but it didn't help clear my breakouts. I don't recommend it.

Have you tried out any detoxifying or clarifying masks as of late? Then it's time to hit up our Product Reviews pages, where you can tell us about everything you're loving (and hating) these days. Maybelline

Reader Review of the Day: Maybelline Line Express Eyeliner

After the holidays, I know I'm always looking to save a penny (or several hundred), and that's why I headed to the Product Reviews pages for some inspiration.

After the holidays, I know I'm always looking to save a penny (or several hundred), and that's why I headed to the Product Reviews pages for some inspiration. Are you in the market for an inexpensive eyeliner? Why not try Maybelline's Line Express Eyeliner ($5), which received a coveted five-star rating from lrogers2000? Here's why:

This eyeliner is my new favorite. I used to buy department store brands but bought this on a whim a couple of months ago. The pencil allows you to get really close to your eye for a clean sharp look. The "smudger" easily gives you the smoky look. And they really mean it when they say all day wear. It stays on through a workout!

Now it's your turn to share your beauty likes and dislikes with us on the Product Reviews pages, where you'll find almost 13,000 other opinions submitted by Bella readers.

Bliss

Reader Review of the Day: Bliss Daily Detoxifying Facial Toner

I'm in the market for a new toner, so what better place to find advice than from Bella readers on the Product Reviews website?

I'm in the market for a new toner, so what better place to find advice than from Bella readers on the Product Reviews website? Here's what marleygyal02 had to say about her not-so-great experience with Bliss Daily Detoxifying Facial Toner ($21):

[It's got a] really refreshing smell, which is why I picked it up in the first place. But, it doesn't really do anything and it leaves a slight film on the skin. The film goes away, but I still feel there are way better toners out there.

Have you been disappointed with your choice of toner, or perhaps you've got a favorite skin refresher you'd like to tell us all about. Whatever the case, just hit up our Product Reviews website and type away. We love to hear your opinions.

Cutex

Reader Review of the Day: Cutex Nail Polish Remover

Everyone loves a good bargain, particularly when it comes to beauty staples, like good old-fashioned nail polish remover.

Everyone loves a good bargain, particularly when it comes to beauty staples, like good old-fashioned nail polish remover. Reader hippiecowgirl calls Cutex Nail Polish Remover in Strengthening ($2) a great value, and here's why:

This is a great product for the price. It doesn't dry my nails out at all like some other budget brands I've tried. The smell isn't nearly as pleasant as some of my more expensive favorites (such as Sephora), but it works well to remove my polish. In the end, that's most important to me.

Do you have some favorite nail-care items you'd like to share with us? I've got the perfect place for you to review to your heart's delight. It's our Product Reviews website, where there are over 50,000 items from which to choose. We'd love to hear from you!

Shaving Cream

Reader Review of the Day: Gillette Dry Skin Shaving Gel

I've been a bad girl.

I've been a bad girl. I've been shaving with soap because I ran out of shaving cream and forgot to restock. So I hit up the Product Review pages to find out what shaving lather is rated highest by you, our trusted readers. The consensus? Gilette's Dry Skin Shaving Gel ($3) not only has the most reviews in the shaving category, but it also has a 4.5-star rating. Here's what brittanyk said about this classic gel:

I wouldn't say that this is formulated that much differently than any other Gillette women's shave gel, but I do like this one. It lathers up very nicely and it doesn't really smell like much, so if you're not into scented products this one isn't really at all. Whenever I use this I generally don't get any razor burn, which is always a plus. It does its job well. The only complaint I have about this is that it isn't very moisturizing. I feel like I have to put on a ton of lotion after I shave my legs with this stuff.

Got a favorite gel or cream shaving item you can't do without? Or perhaps you've got something not so kind to reveal about a particular shaving product. Head over to our Product Review pages to share your opinions and see what other readers have to say. You might be the next lucky person to be featured on this daily post.

Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Heavenly Angel Mist ($22) is a light vanilla oriental scent, with notes of quince, cardamom, white peony, freesia, sandalwood, musk, and of course — vanilla. Here's what reader kayecouture had to say about the popular scent:

"This is hands down, my favorite perfume ever. It smells so soft and fresh, and is a very light scent. Every time I wear it, I get compliments, especially from men. A few girls have even asked me what I wear and then have gone out and purchased it. . . Love it!"

Hair

Reader Review of the Day: Burt's Bees Super Shiny Grapefruit and Sugar Beet Shampoo

The shampoo part aside, Burt's Bees Super Shiny Grapefruit and Sugar Beet Shampoo ($8) sounds straight up like something you'd see on the kitchen table.

The shampoo part aside, Burt's Bees Super Shiny Grapefruit and Sugar Beet Shampoo ($8) sounds straight up like something you'd see on the kitchen table. And after trying out this cleanser, which is free of sulfates and parabens, reader steen has nothing but positive things to say.

"Trying to find an affordable sulfate-free shampoo has been difficult for me. All the ones I've tried have left my hair dried out or greasy. I stumbled upon Burt's Bees Super Shiny Grapefruit and Sugar Beet Shampoo and Conditioner while perusing the products at the drugstore and I am in love. The shampoo lathers really well, rinses easily, and smells great — like sugared grapefruit. It also actually makes my hair incredibly shiny. (Too often products claim to, but I don't see any difference.) I love that I can get it just about anywhere and it's only $8 a bottle — sometimes less if it's in a value set or on sale."

Reader Review of the Day: Remington Wet 2 Style Flat Iron

I'm kind of a spendthrift when it comes to flat irons, so this review of the Remington Wet 2 Style Flat Iron ($28) sounds great to me.

I'm kind of a spendthrift when it comes to flat irons, so this review of the Remington Wet 2 Style Flat Iron ($28) sounds great to me. Reader kayecouture says:

"This flat iron works great! It has adjustable heat levels, and beeps when it has reached the level that you set it to. It leaves my hair straight without frizz, and silky soft. I have very thick, curly hair, but it straightens it perfectly with one try; I don't even have to go over the strand of hair a second time. If you want a great flat iron that won't cost you an arm and a leg like the CHI, get this one!"

Eye Shadow

Reader Review of the Day: Wet 'n' Wild MegaEyes Shadow Pot

Wet 'n' Wild MegaEyes Shadow Pot ($2) hasn't gotten great reviews from some of our readers in the past, but apparently there's at least one shade that's great, and at $2 a pop, the price can't be beat.

Wet 'n' Wild MegaEyes Shadow Pot ($2) hasn't gotten great reviews from some of our readers in the past, but apparently there's at least one shade that's great, and at $2 a pop, the price can't be beat. About which shade is high quality, reader LeahLiddell says:

"I think the other girls who reviewed this must've gotten bad shades, because this is honestly my favorite shadow ever! I'm a frequent MAC wearer, but the shade Fine Wink is far better than any shade I've been able to find anywhere. I have very pale skin, so it complements my shading, giving my eyes a 'nude' look a few shades darker than my own skin. It also has a soft shimmer that is very pretty. I really recommend trying it out in Fine Wink — I promise it won't disappoint if you're looking for a nude shadow."

Maybelline

Reader Review of the Day: Maybelline Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner

I've tried Maybelline's Lash Stiletto mascara, but until reader itsme3683 mentioned how much she likes Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner ($6), I had no idea that it even existed.

I've tried Maybelline's Lash Stiletto mascara, but until reader itsme3683 mentioned how much she likes Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner ($6), I had no idea that it even existed. Sounds good though, because she says:

"I'm new to liquid eyeliner so I haven't tried out all of the most expensive products, but I really like this liner! So far, I'd been using the pen-tipped liners or liners with very stiff felt tips that have gone dry or applied watery. This product glides on smooth, the brush has the perfect amount of flexibility, and leaves a perfect line. It's easy to control how thick the line is, and it's stayed on all day like it promised! Overall, I was really excited about this. Now I don't know that I'll even have to start using the pricier stuff!"
