What We're Sweet On: A Handy Way to Freshen Up Post-Workout

The hardest part about hitting the gym before work (aside from yanking yourself out of bed predawn) has got to be the showering situation, whether your workout spot is sans shower or you don't want to risk wetting your strands. That's why I started carrying Dead Sea Essentials by Ahava Refreshing Body Spa Towelettes ($7, exclusively at Target) in my gym bag. These oversize wipes are your go-to when your post-workout shower is a no-go. Sweetly scented like hibiscus flowers, the towelettes are ideal for sweeping under your arms, across your décolletage, and anywhere else you need a little freshening up, effectively poking a hole in your last excuse for not going to the gym. Sorry about that.
The Backstage Secret to Keeping the Cast of Glee Sweat-Free
The styling product choice of curly-haired Matthew Morrison may be Lubriderm lotion, but when it comes to taming the glistening skin of his fellow Glee castmates, the backstage must have is a simple towelette.
According to a makeup artist behind the scenes, the cast uses Dickinson's Daily Facial Towelettes ($5) on set. So the next time you belt out your finest rendition of "Don't Stop Believin'," or you have to make it from the gym to cocktail hour in a flash, perhaps you can take a little inspiration from Rachel Berry and Sue Sylvester for your antisweat needs.

Bella's 5 Favorite Things to Buy at the Beauty Supply Store
I'll admit that with a few exceptions, most beauty supply stores are not the place to go for your glamorous upscale shopping. Whether it's megachain Sally's Beauty Supply or the local beauty emporium down the street, the majority of you said you're fans of these types of establishments — and with good reason. We at Team Bella love them too, and that's why we compiled a list of five of our favorite beauty supply store items.
Doing Drugstore: Clean and Clear Makeup Dissolving Facial Cleansing Wipes
Sometimes laziness or overindulgence happens. In those cases, I don't feel like going through the whole process of my nightly face-care ritual, but I also don't want to wake up the next morning with makeup and mascara melting down my face from the previous day. That's where facial wipes come into play. Recently, I tried Clean and Clear Makeup Dissolving Facial Cleansing Wipes ($6) on a particularly sluggish one-petit-syrah-too-many evening.
With 25 wipes in the package, I figure each sheet costs just under a quarter — a fairly reasonable price. While nothing beats the old facial soap and water routine, I like having these wipes on hand in a pinch, and even as a little refresher before touching up my makeup for after-work cocktails. I appreciate the fact that these wipes are oil-free, do not have an overly strong odor, and did not leave behind a burning sensation. Don't expect these sheets to eliminate all traces of your makeup, but you can expect to feel good that at least some makeup removal effort was put forth before heading to bed. Now only if they could remove a hangover . . .

It's time to eradicate any kind of embarrassment and get to the bottom of the not-so-fresh feeling. Bellissima! Comodynes Easy Peeling Towelette
Looky here – it's another new individual-use towelette product, and this time it comes in the form of an exfoliator. Comodynes has got it right. This brand is super-popular in Europe and I'm so happy to see that the US is finally catching on. It makes all kinds of individually wrapped beauty products to make going to the gym and travelling a cinch. Not only do you not have to worry about getting stopped at security for carrying liquids, but isn't it great to come home with less than you brought with you?
These new Easy Peeling Towelettes ($1.99 each) are a great way to say goodbye to dry, dull and dead cells and hello to bright, buffed and polished skin.
To use, simply massage the towelette onto your face/body in small circles once or twice a week. You don't even have to rinse afterwards (although that idea seems a little gross to me). And if you really love these, you can buy them in eight-packs for $16.
No Mess Makeup Remover Pads
Challenge #7 in the Beauty Junkies Group was to find your favorite eye makeup remover. Personally, I love using the pads because they are mess free, easy to travel with and they save you a step when you're taking off your makeup! Here are three gentle eye makeup remover pads that I think you'll like just as much as I do.
It looks like atoxicsparkle is also a fan of these super gentle Neutrogena® Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes, $8 - aren't they fab! What I like best about them is that they don't irritate my eyes and the pads are very soft on your skin. They completely remove all traces of makeup and grime and leave my face feeling really good.
It says on the package that there is no need to rinse, but I always do and then I follow with a moisturizer. These pads are also approved for contact lens wearers. One box includes 25 towelettes.

Check It Out: Self Tanning Towelettes
Self tanning towelettes are inventive, easy to use, disposable and portable single self tanning applications. They are safe and effective ways to tan without the harmful effects of the sun's damaging rays. You can use them once a week or as often as necessary to achieve the color you desire.
To use, first be sure and exfoliate your skin to avoid streaking and splotches. Then, apply on your face and body when your skin is dry. Spread the towelettes around in small circular motions to make sure your coverage is even. When you are finished, don't forget to thoroughly wash your hands and nails. Wait about fifteen minutes before dressing so that the color doesn't damage your clothing.
Comodyne Self-Tanning Towelettes, $44.99, are individually wrapped, non-messy, single application self tanning wipes. This brand is super popular in Europe and has finally made its way to the U.S.
They are fast working, won't dry out your skin and they create a deep, golden bronze glow. They are also perfect for travel since you don't have to worry about leaks, spills or any of the new traveling with fluids laws.
