Here's a small perfume store I spotted in Valladolid, a colonial city in Mexico's Yucatán peninsula. Though it wasn't open during my visit, I still loved looking at the painting details on the outside. The depictions of Lancôme Trésor, Ralph by Ralph Lauren, and Paco Rabanne are pretty spot-on. If you're looking for even more south-of-the-States beauty spots, check out these salons and barber shops in Belize.
Golden Globes Style: Selena Gomez
Looking like a blazing ray of sunshine, Selena Gomez was a step above the rest at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards. Her burnt-orange, pleated Catherine Deane gown and gold chain belt injected a pop of color on the red carpet. With a statement dress, she kept her accessories to a minimum, accenting with only gold drop Tresor earrings and an orange flower ring. To get Ms. Gomez's glowing ensemble, shop like pieces here.
Kate Winslet's Latest Sweet Deal
Recently we heard that Kate was being considered for a new campaign for L’Oréal and now it's been confirmed. Kate flew to Paris this week to attend a dinner where it was announced that she is the new face of Trésor, the fragrance from L’Oréal's Lancôme Paris. Too bad we have to wait until September to see what we believe will be a classy beautiful campaign.

Beauty Byte: Kate Winslet Is the New Face of Lancôme Tresor
Recently, I shared a rumor that L’Oréal was considering Kate Winslet as the face of one of its brands. Turns out, the speculation was spot on: Today, Fashion Week Daily is reporting that Winslet will appear in the new ad campaign for Trésor, the popular fragrance from L’Oréal's Lancôme brand.
Winslet flew to Paris to attend a 300-person dinner tonight at the Musée Rodin, where the official announcement will be made. The guests will get a sneak peek at the new ad campaign and a TV spot, both of which will premiere in September.
When I think of Trésor, I always remember the stunning Isabella Rossellini, who was the face of the fragrance in the 1990s. Winslet is a worthy heir indeed.
