Amp up your striking white nail polish look with gold studs at the base for a simple but impactful touch. To finish, I topped this look with Essie Good to Go ($8) to seal in the stud and give my nails a glossy finish. If you have any messy edges, go back with a brush dipped in polish remover to clean up any stray polish.

Before this announcement, we weren't too keen on the lipstick and nail polish matching trend we'd seen coming down the runways. It felt a little retro, and not in the cool sense of the word that Mad Men generally embodies. With such fresh colors and the unexpected glossy texture, though, Butter's made us a lot more amenable to the idea. Shine on.

Butter London fans, get excited. The 5-year-old nail polish brand, which previously could only be found in limited distribution through apothecaries and boutiques, just got a whole lot easier to purchase. Earlier this month, seven Nordstrom stores began carrying the line with plans to expand to more stores next year. (But there's always online.) And that's not all; Ulta's also in on the action, stocking approximately 60 percent of the line in 30 of its stores, with plans to branch out to more locations come Spring.
