"Every season I play with different ways of using color in my collection, so it was a natural choice to collaborate with CND on a capsule of nail colors that reflects my aesthetics," Wu told WWD. Available in May, the stylish palette features four staple colors: Miss Wu (a limestone gray), Brigitte (a dirty rose), Veronica (a blood red, seen here on a model), and Sophia (a dark mushroom). The effect topcoat, named Anna, will contain silk fragments to provide depth. Will you check out this collection when warmer weather arrives once again?
The gel-based base coat, polish, and top coat used in CND's new Shellac manicure don't need drying time and supposedly last for 14 days. But did this manicure hold up to day-to-day activities and stay chip-free in the process? Watch our video to find out.
Annie heads to the salon to show us the newest manicure to hit the market that promises to deliver chip-free nails for two weeks. The trick to the CND Shellac Manicure is in the polish, which is actually a hybrid nail color that applies like polish, but doesn’t need any drying time, and stays on for 14 days! Will this manicure hold up to the grueling life of a BellaSugar editor? Watch our video to find out!
Because the flakes are small, the look is subtle instead of flashy. From a distance you get a cleaner, less dramatic look that's very wearable, especially for work. If you're looking for more of a Studio 54 vibe, you can also layer it a lot more for a more glitter-like effect. It's lasted well so far, and on the fourth day of wear (no topcoat!), it's chip-free.

At the Marc Jacobs show, models sported not one, not two, but five different manicure styles. Created by CND's Roxanne Valinoti (with Elisa Ferri), the five hand-mixed, custom-blended colors ranged from brownish gray to lavender-tinged beige. As is the case with all things Marc, the color palette is bound to set trends. If you just can't wait until fall to wear the look, check out the exact "recipe" you'll need to mix up each of the runway polish colors for yourself. All polishes are from CND.
At Alexander Wang, an opaque neutral earned an urban edge thanks to Butter London's matte topcoat. Knock Out Cosmetics highlighted gloss-free blues and putties at DKNY, and at Behnaz Sarafpour, CND created a cashmere effect based on warm pinky-beige Desert Suede. Rounding off the list? Malandrino's cool heathered manicure (pictured), which you can recreate by applying CND polish in Dark Ruby, layering it with Copper Shimmer, and finishing with Super Matte top coat. (Subtract the shimmer shade and you've got the same look of Twinkle.)
See? Pure matteness.
