Certain polish collaborations make more sense than others, while others are a little more intriguing. The latest Nicole by OPI collaboration is with the Emmy Award-winning show Modern Family. The collection hits stores next month, and each shade will retail for $8. We already know there are plenty of fans of the show, but we couldn't help but wonder, how do you turn Jay Pritchett or Luke Dunphy into a nail lacquer? Click through, and you'll find out!

Found: The Perfect St. Patrick's Day Nail Polish
Now, let's be clear: as a woman well out of her teen years, I do not have Justin Bieber fever. But within myself, I have discovered an unexpected affinity toward many of Justin's nail polishes from his crazy-popular One Less Lonely Girl collection from Nicole by OPI. The newly-released One Time Lime ($7), described as a "vibrant lime that's worth your time," is no exception. It's bright and cheery without being too neon-like; it's creamy and opaque, but not in a muted or dated sort of way. In essence, it's a true green with just a touch of yellow — and it would be perfect decorating your nails while out drinking a beer (or several) on St. Patrick's Day. Justin will just have to wait a few years to celebrate with us.
Justin Bieber's Gold Polish Gets a Gold Star
Some of us are too old to be stricken with Bieber fever, but I really don't think any of us are ever too old for gold — polish, that is. Justin's Nicole by OPI One Less Lonely Girl nail polish collection sold out at Walmart almost immediately last month, but a whole new crop (including eight more colors) has been released at a wider selection of stores, including Ulta, Target, and Walgreens.
Putting the whole teen dream thing aside, I have to say that I was pretty impressed with Not a Gold Bigger ($8) from Justin's second batch of polishes. Almost an old-gold shade, this muted metallic is neither too shiny nor dull. Because it's also not very flashy, it's surprisingly very wearable for daytime. Read: you won't feel like a teenybopper if you're donning this particular auriferous shade. I like to think of it as almost like jewelry. Two thin coats were plenty, although the next time I wear it, I'll definitely be using a topcoat to prevent chipping.
Here's Why Bieber's Nail Polish Collection Is a Pleasant Surprise
You probably already know that Justin Bieber has his own line of nail polishes with Nicole by OPI, which happened to sell out at Walmart in a flash. Don't fret, however, as Ulta, Target, and Sears are set to stock Biebs's polishes starting next month. And while we wait for the shades to be replenished, be sure to check out this review of the polishes, our favorite colors of the bunch, and some Bieber eye candy tossed in for good measure.
As Bieber's Polish Sales Skyrocket, We Sample the Goods
Justin Bieber's nail polish collaboration with Nicole by OPI — which undoubtedly garnered a whole lot of "OMGs" and "Can't wait 4 its" within the singer's diehard teen fanbase — flew off the shelves at Wal-Mart, where it was launched exclusively last month. In fact, in all 3,000 Wal-Mart stores where the One Less Lonely Girl collection was sold, each and every bottle got snatched up. (Note that the collection can still be found on Walmart.com.) But don't fret, Biebs fans: Target, Ulta, and Sears will carry his polishes starting next month.
Team Bella sampled the polishes, such as this grape-colored shade, Prized Possession Purple. It's one of the best hues in the bunch, as it's bright without going into neon territory. As far as the application is concerned, our reviews are mixed. I found the brush to be a little uneven, causing the polish to go on in streaky layers. But Bella editor Annie insists that once you get the hang of the brush shape, the polish goes on smoothly and evenly. Stay tuned for our video look at Mr. Bieber's latest foray into cosmetics.
Bella's January Must Haves
Winter is pretty, but its effects on hair and skin can be just the opposite. That's why we've tracked down five of our favorite beauty treats of the month. They'll help you tame fly-aways, treat chapped lips, or just look a little more perky even in the harshest weather. There's something here for every budget, so check out what we're loving.
The Bieb Gets a Nail Polish Collection
Bieber Fever shows no signs of slowing down, and neither does his marketing savvy. Soon Justin Bieber's adoring fans will be able to bring the Proactiv spokesman's charm to their fingernails. Nicole by OPI is teaming with the teen heartthrob to create the One Less Lonely Girl nail polish collection, which launches at Walmart in December. The shades allude to JB's tunes (One Less Lonely Girl Glitter, for instance) and are likely to cause all sorts of tween swooning in the beauty aisle. It's an odd collaboration from a guy who doesn't wear nail polish himself, but we have a hunch that putting the Bieb's name on almost anything means instant sell-through.
