Things to keep in mind if you have a square face is that layered bangs that fall to or below your eyebrows are very flattering, especially if they are swept off to the side. Fringey and wispy bangs look great, too, since they will soften the edges of your face shape.
Cuts to avoid are blunt bangs or airy bangs that come to your jawline (a common look for a chin-length bob), as these types of bangs will only cause your face to look sharp—and not in the good way.

Having a square face means that you have a wide hairline and an equally wide, angular jaw. The goal with a square face is to soften your hairline with cuts that incorporate bangs, layers, and your hair's natural texture.
It also means that you have lots of flexibility in the choosing which length you want to wear your hair. Almost any length is flattering. For example, you could try a long, sleek style with layers that start at the jawline and continue downward, like Demi's above.
