Every year, Nivea teams up with a famous couple to host its New Year's Eve celebration in Times Square. This time, Mario Lopez and fiancée Courtney Mazza will head to New York to celebrate as the ball drops. "We met [in New York], we got engaged last New Year's Eve, and we'll be newlyweds this year," Mario explained at last night's launch event. But they're not the only pair to party on Dec. 31; as part of its Kiss of the Year contest, the brand is looking for another couple to ring in New Year's Eve in New York. "There is nothing like it in the world, and we want to encourage people to celebrate love," Mario said.

"I come from a family that embraces artistic expression," Charlotte Ronson said last night. The designer was the guest of honor at a fete for Nivea's new Kiss of Style cap contest, which encourages people to express their creativity by designing their own lip balm packaging. Ronson got in on the action, too, creating packaging inspired by the geometric designs of her Fall 2012 collection. Fancy yourself a designer, too? Starting Aug. 1, you can create your own cap using an extensive list of colors and design elements ranging from graffiti to Victoriana. Ronson will select the top 10 finalists, with the winning design appearing on shelves next year.
