Why You Should Wear Carolina Herrera's Beauty Look to Your Wedding

If there's one thing you can count on, it's that Carolina Herrera has the brides covered. For Fall 2014, she requested an elegant beauty look that would complement the sleek gowns in her collection. Orlando Pita created a towering topknot that actually mimicked a bouquet of flowers. Hair was slicked back using BioSilk Silk Therapy. Then extensions were added to a high ponytail. Pita used "rat" stuffing to shape the bun before creating circular designs with the hair.

The makeup look was one you can easily copy at home. Bold brows were stenciled in with shadow, then a shimmering taupe shadow was added from lash line to brow bone. Lead makeup artist Diane Kendal used MAC blush in Hush and Luna to highlight the cheeks. Finally, the palette was completed with a swipe of Boysenberry lipstick, which was smudged off with tissue.

Michelle Saunders put on two coats of Essie Ballet Slippers (a classic!) because the shade blended in with all the colors in her collection.
