Dream come true

I use this when I don't get enough sleep. I guess that's the concept of the name. Otherwise the Foundation suffices for undereye circles. Anyways, for the days your boss works you too hard, this makes him think, "psh, no problem. now i deserve a raise for being so damn perky and awake!"

Silky

If you need cover up on moderately dark under eyes and hate the harshness and caking of some under eye liquid concealers, this will do. It goes on silky, looks natural, and actually will brighten up your eyes. Smiling However, if you have serious under eye issues, i suggest using this only on top of a more heavy duty product.

Inconspicuous Concealing

What I love about Well Rested is that you can't tell I've used it. I use a bisque concealer under my eyes and apply the well rested to the inner corners and just under my eyes. I don't know if anything can make the circles completely disappear, but the yellow pigment in the concealer helps me get pretty close.

it's an OK pale eyeshadow

This is a perfectly OK pale vanilla toned eyeshadow, and works fine as a base color. I didn't find it effective as a concealer. Most of us would have to be careful about using a powder like this under the eye anyway, as it tends to settle in the fine lines. Can be mixed with a moisturizer if you're determined to try to use it as a concealer.

I own EVERY bare minerals product imaginable, and I was somewhat disappointed with this one....is makes under your eyes look white.

Okay for an eyeshadow base

This product is good for an eyeshadow base but is not the miracle working product BE leads you to believe. It settles into the fine lines below my eyes even though I use a good eye cream first.

This product could be better. Not recommended for women with tan colored skin.

Bright eyes

Use the BE concealer brush to dust this stuff under eyes and you will instantly see your face brighten and lighten. While it may not have the staying power of Laura Mercier's Secret Finish or YSL's Touche Eclat, the $18 price tag gives it major oomph against its competitors. It hides dark circles really well and feels very soft on the skin.

Brightener

I really like this product for everyday use. It preforms as a concealer and brightens at the same time, which saves me a step. It handles my circles well, but it is not super thick so heavy-duty circles might require more.

Too "cakey" for oily skin!

Posted: Thu, 07/24/2008 - 9:16am [+] - See all 4 reviews

Okay, I know that around the eyes tends to be the least moist place on the face. But, even so, this item tends to cake up when I use it around my eyes. I really don't like it. AND like glam sugar said - it doesn't cover dark circles. When I haven't had enough sleep, it SHOWS on my face. But, this product doesn't alleviate it much, if at all. Sad

It's in the application

Posted: Sun, 07/13/2008 - 8:36am [+] - See all 19 reviews

I used it previously only on the upper eye and didn't notice much of a difference, but when I purchased it a second time as part of a kit, it suggested blending it above and below the eye and along the sides of the nose, which is much more effective. It opens and brightens my eyes and blends well.

Bare Escentuals is my only makeup

The Bare Escentuals line is perfect for someone like me - not keen on looking made up, with minimal skills and even less time. The Well-rested all-over face formula goes on in second, covers all the redness in my complexion and leaves my skin looking younger and even-toned. I have recommended this comapny to many friends and family and will continue to do so since I cannot imagine ever wearing anything else.

It doesn't cover my dark circles

Posted: Thu, 06/19/2008 - 8:03am [+] - See all 42 reviews

This product goes on nice but doesn't adequately cover my under-eye circles, even when I use a cream concealer underneath it.
