I had previously posted a rave review about this product because I have to say it mos def controlled my shine but into week 3 of use it caused major breakouts on my forehead. At first I thought it was a post PMS break out, not so much. I had tiny little bumps all over my forehead and a few days after I stopped using this product it cleared right up. It's sad because it worked so well at first. I'll be going to get my money back... |

I really like this moisturizer because it is great for oily and dry skin. It keeps your skin hydrated and doesn't feel heavy or greasy. It is good for using everyday and doesn't clog your pores. |

I have oily skin. Like, as in, my face could join OPEC. I have spent the last six years searching for something, anything to make myself look less like a giant grease-stain. I've used more blotting papers than you can possibly imagine. More mattifiers and toners and creams and lotions and potions than I can recall. Some were better, some were worse, some did nothing at all.
Then I found MAC Oil Control Lotion. Quite by accident, I might add. The Body Shop was out of Tea Tree Mattifying gel stuff, and so I wandered down the street to the MAC store. The makeup artist there gave me a little sample jar. I used it the next day under my makeup.
There was no oil ANYWHERE on my face until well into the afternoon, about 4 or 5 PM. For someone who would normally have to blot at least once an hour, that's a pretty amazing accomplishment! I've been using this for about 5 months now, and I've found that my face is overall less oily, and oil production with this stuff under my primer is effectively nil. So if you're looking to stop plans for oil drilling on your face, I strongly urge you to give this stuff a shot! Get a sample from your MAC store and discover the wonder of being oil-free!
