Which is unfortunate. I only have one Lustreglass, Bateaux from the Naughty Nauticals collection, and it will be my only one, I'm afraid. Don't get me wrong - I love the color. It's just that I don't like my glosses with so much glitter/sparkle stuff. And while the texture is thick and sticky, that's par for the course with Lustreglass and Lipglass alike. What really bugged me most about this stuff, though, is the applicator - I really hate brush-type gloss applicator wands, which seem to create unnecessary complications. Lustreglass is unfortunately not the cream of the MAC crop - fortunately, though, Lipglass has all of its virtues and none of its vices! |

I am in full agreement with Fordhamalias. Lustreglass comes in some gorgeous shades, and I do own five or six of them, but the formula is just so uncomfortable on the lips. It's sticky and goopey and thick, and it really drives me crazy after wearing it for only a short time. My favorite shades are Palatial and Wonderstruck, and when I do decide to wear them, I make sure that I put on some lip balm first (usually Burt's Bees or Softlips) before applying the Lustreglass. I just can't stand the feel of it on my bare lips; applying the lip balm first seems to provide a bit of a barrier and it doesn't seem QUITE so sticky. |

I don't wear any of the glosses on their own, so I'm not sure how fair my review is. They are sticky and heavy so you definitely can feel that they're on your lips. However, I have to give them props for the variety! Some of glitter, some have shimmer, and the array of colors can leave any make-up newbie breathless! It's fun to mix and match them to lipsticks to give you that perfect shade! I'd suggest saving your money for the sets of five that come out before Christmas unless you wear certain colors all the time, but with the variety of colors, why even wear the same color twice in one week? |

In mac all of the testers had the applicators snipped off.. this is probably to discourage people to use the samples. This of course led me to think the product came with a doe foot aplicator tip. It doesnt..its a brush. I opened my product to find a brush that already had parts that were seperated from the main body of the brush. Within 2 uses the brush was a mess...the lid therefor got all stiky and gloopy and I want to throw it out the window. Stick to plush and lipglass. |

This is a thick clunky lip gloss that is extremely sticky and uncomfortable to wear. The color of the gloss is lovely (I have Bateaux) it's just much to hard to apply. It is very difficult to spread on the lips as it has the consistency of honey/molasses. Much much too thick. Unfortunately the nice shade gets pushed aside due to the lack of appeal of wearing the product. |

Like I've said in all my reviews, I love MAC! So I am biased.. haha I love this. I have it in Morning Glory. It's a pretty shimmery pink. It comes out less colorful on your lips than it does in the container which I like. It basically looks like a clear lip glass with sparkle particles and a hint of pink. It's great! I actually never noticed a difference between this and the regular lipglass. I can vouch that the Dazzleglass is thicker though!
