Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss

I like Superbalm because it's a little glossy, a little balm-y, and whenever I wear it I can't stop moving my lips back and forth. Great glossy shine, good moisturizing capabilities, and a nice feel on your lips. I do wish that the colors were a little more intense. I've tried dark shades and light shades, and unfortunately, there isn't much difference when they're on your lips.

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of shine that these balms provide--I expected them to feel more "balm-y", but instead, they seem more like a gloss to me. The consistency is thick, but smooth...not sticky at all. They come in several shades, but they pretty much all look the same on the lips! They're so extremely sheer that you really only see a tiny HINT of color. The Raspberry gloss looks super-pink in the tube, but it almost looks like clear gloss on the lips. I wish the colors were a little more noticeable--that's my only complaint with this product.

..for what it is, which is basically a sheer, shiny lip gloss. there is no spf (which is lame), its a little too sticky for my taste (constantly rubbing the corners of my mouth), and there is basically no difference between any of the shades since it gives barely a hint of color. not worth it for me.

i really like this super emolient cherry hued gloss (shade raspberry). it creates a really pretty pout by moisturizing and adding a kiss of color. great price and easy to apply tube make it the perfect product to toss into your clutch for day or night.

I really love this lip balm because it comes in great colors and has a lot of shine. It doesn't sparkle, but it has just enough shine to make your lips pop and look very sleek. The color lasts a long time without rubbing off and feels great on my lips.

It gives a very pretty shimmer and just a hint of color that lasts for hours, definately a two thumbs up

its great for a natural look. It is not sticky, unlike other glosses from clinique and lots of shades.

I have almost every Clinique product there is. This is very long lasting and has a nice shine of color. Either wearing it alone or over another color it leaves the lips moisturized and isn't sticky but very light. I love yet another product from Clinique and they never seem to disappoint me. Of course one flaw is it does not contain SPF. Most of their products always lack SPF, I wonder why? Oh well..I guess I have to stick with wearing a chap-stick that consist of SPF under this lip gloss.

Half gloss, half balm but very sheer. I have ginger which looked to have the most color and it still barely shows up on my lips. Four stars because it is moisturising and less sticky than other glosses.

It's a nice gloss, a bit sticky, but nice and flattering. The thing is, that it's a bit too costly for me to buy these, especially since I find them to be sorta casual and low impact

I'm a firm believer that everything should have a double purpose (lipstain and blush in one, shimmer and eyeshadow), which is why I was pleasantly surprised to hear bout this superbalm lipgloss! I don't like thick, sticky-feeling glosses and this is not one of them. Hint- be sure to get a darker shade than you normally wear. It may look pretty bright or dark but its so shear it ends up being a lot lighter on your lips. I wanted a light shear pink and thought raspberry would be too bright, but it ended up being the perfect light pink color. It's also very moisturizing! I forgot my chapstick the other day, and only had this in my purse, which actually quenched my parched lips immediately. I love this product! Its all I bring in my purse for a night out (along with my wallet of course)

I love this lip gloss for when I'm running out the door and need to throw something on, but like everyone here, I wish it had a little more color. I got the Grapefruit and was thrown by how bright pink it looked in the tube until I tried it and realized it didn't really matter!

I agree with everyone else here who has mentioned it was great for a low-key day. This is THE gloss I look to in the cooler months for some odd reason. But by all means, wear it all year round every day! I find it a little heavier, not gloppy or sticky though, for a slick, moisture-rich gloss. The colors are sheer making any color perfect for anyone to wear. Clinique wins again!

I was a fan of this when Clinique came out with the original clear...before all the colors!! It's the perfect combination of balm and gloss with a touch of tint...

Firstly the colour choice is divine as are the names for the balms.

The balm goes on sheer but with a hint of colour.. so pretty. I use this during the day but would also use it on a night out with a dramatic eye as your lips look so kissable and plump.

I especially love rootbeer, mango and ginger.

-1 star for the colors not being noticable enough on the lips.. just a little less sheer would show the difference in shades

Super soft lips with just a nice hint of color. For people who don't like a heavy lip gloss or lipstick, but who want the color, this is ideal. Not bad for price either - a little goes a long way.

Clinique has an awesome product here! I recieved a small sample a few months ago w/ a perfume purchase. The shade was called Raspberry - it's a very sheer magenta color. It goes on very smooth - I love the slant tip applicator. This lipgloss really stays put for a long time. However, it did not dry out my lips like other glosses, which is truly amazing since those that stay put longer, dry out my lips the most! I had to go back and pick up a full sized tube. I got Apricot which is a peachy-nude color. Once again, very sheer. These are perfect when you are going for a more "natural/low key" look. I will definately be picking up some more of these!

I have this is Mango. It's a fun gloss; not so glossy that it's blinding, but long-lasting shine. I love that there's only a hint of color.

I used to be a die-hard lipstick girl. Like, every day, solid lipstick and nothing else. But then I got tired of always having to reapply and worrying about getting those little Joker-lines in the corner of my mouth, so I slowly but surely made the transition to lip gloss thanks to a sample of this wondrous stuff that has led to a new lifetime of love. This is hands-down, the best sheer, non-sparkly lipgloss ever. It's not sticky, it's not gummy. It's plenty glossy, goes on smoothly, and deeply moisturizes dry lips. The shades have enough color to give your lips a natural perk of color but are sheer enough to match every skin tone and color scheme. I like pairing it with simple black liquid liner and pink cheeks for a simple, classic and pretty look. Totes my fave, yo.

I have this in Ginger, and it's one of my favorites! The color is very neutral, no shimmer, but one of those universally flattering shades. It's very sticky, about the same level of stickiness as MAC Lipglass, which is rather unappealing, but it does fulfill its moisturizing/balm function very well, apart from lacking sun protection, which I find a bit silly. So I tend to wear it only inside - it's my "library lipgloss" and has taken up residence in my pencil case!

I have this and I love it! Once I put it on, it lasts forever without any problems and leaves just a hint of shine and color. However, it is a little bit sticky and there's no SPF.
