Too Faced Lip Injection Lip Plumping Treatment

I put it on and holy gawd did it burn. It also tastes like poison so be careful you don't put it too close to the opening of the mouth. I immediately noticed plumping but forgot about it.

Suddenly about 5 minutes later my boyfriend turned to me and started freaking out because my lips were (and i joke not) 2times their normal size and all blistery at the bit where the skin and lips meet. Not only that one side was bigger than the other so i literally looked like I had bad collagen!!

I thought i looked quite sexy... he thought i was having an allergy and didn't stop laughing. A week later my lips are suffering..all chapped and dry as a result of this stuff.

So a few stars for the whole plumping allergic reaction thing.. but its not really safe!

This is the BEST plumper that I have tried, and I've definately tried my share of plumpers. The only thing I hate about this one is the smell. To me it smells like Red Bull - which makes me nauseous

It does plump the lips, but I found it to be a little irritating to my skin. It felt kinda like chapped lips and that wasn't so good. This product wasn't for me, but perhaps my skin is just too sensitive because I can't handle the Lip Venom either.

This product was not for me. I am familiar with various lip plumpers, and most have a slight tingling to them to plump the lips. However this lip gloss burned my lips, to the point that i had to wipe it off. But before i got to, my sister told me to look in the mirror, it had made me red from my nose down to my chin, and i'm mixed race with dark tan skin and it was that bad. I did not have an allergic reaction, as i don't have any allergies, but it was making the blood rush to my face so fast trying to plump my lips, hints the burning sensation, that my face around that area started to flush. I eventually wiped it off never to use again. I didn't know that when they called it lip injection that it would literally feel like burning pinching needles on your lips lol. At least it's not false advertising.

I used a sample of this stuff and it did nothing -- I had a bit of a tingle on the skin surrounding my lips, but none on my lips proper. They didn't look any plumper or redder. I have nice lips, so I expected them to really pop with this, but it did nothing more for them than a regular lip gloss would. Maybe I had an old sample?

Or anyone who does not have super strong titanium lips.
On application, the surface of my lip felt as though it had shrunk and it stang like hell. Layers of my lip started peeling off and the whole area was so sore I couldn't really move my mouth properly for days...and I do not even have sensitive skin/lips! Yes, it did plump the area, but that was probably because of the irritation it caused. Maybe its an individual thing?

I've tried tons of plumpers and this is the one that my friends and I always return to! It does have a cinnamon-y burn but it definitely decreases after continued use. It makes my lips look very pretty - big, shiny and pink since what plumper is supposed to do is increase circulation. And good call on the red bull comparison! I've always tried to pinpoint what the smell is similar to.

Too Faced Lip Injection is the first plumper that I've tried. It came in a smaller size in a Too Faced favorites palette that I purchased this past summer. I was so excited to try it - I put it on and OUCH! My lips stung for about an hour. However, they did look very pretty - plump, shiny, and pink (probably b/c they were burning). I put it on several days in a row and noticed that each time, the stinging was a lot less severe. After about a week, there was no pain after applying it. If I skip it for a while, though, the next time I put it on it burns again. I guess you just have to build up a resistance. Lip plumper resistance training...I only took one star away for the pain factor (but, really, it's worth it)
