"This substantial (and long-lasting) scrub bar produces a creamy lather, never feeling too tight or drying. It also has built in little sea salt and loofah fibers which feel gentle. There's no harsh "ouch factor" here. "

"If anybody would know tweezers, it's gotta be Anastasia, right? These tweezers really get the job done. They're sharp, angled just right, and they grab all of the tiny hairs I miss with the naked eye. Pricey, yes, but so far they've stayed sharp, and my brows are stayin' well-groomed. Buy these in a kit if you don't have any other brow products — you can get great kits for $40 or so, giving you more for your money."

"This is a cult-favorite beauty product, and while I like its versatility and cute packaging, I just haven't been able to fall in love with it. Mine seemed to "sweat" sometimes, and the color didn't go on evenly. I prefer a creamier blush or a more consistent stain; this just isn't on my repurchase list."

"I like Superbalm because it's a little glossy, a little balm-y, and whenever I wear it I can't stop moving my lips back and forth. Great glossy shine, good moisturizing capabilities, and a nice feel on your lips. I do wish that the colors were a little more intense. I've tried dark shades and light shades, and unfortunately, there isn't much difference when they're on your lips."

"This formula glides on smooth and doesn't wind up getting caught in the fine lines on your face or look cakey after a few hours. You really need to shake it before you apply because in time it definitely separates a little bit in the bottle. Overall, a great product."

"These thick, mousse-like lotions look cool, but smelling their sickly-sweet desserty fragrances is like being doomed to an eternity in fruity, sugary hell. Not recommended."

"Don't bogart my Fresh! It's such a simple and unusual scent — yep, it smells like reefer and roses — but it smells elegant and fascinating rather than something you'd find at a Dead concert. The body cream is smooth and thick and so moisturizing. Weirdly, I have never smoked pot, never really liked the scent of it, and yet I can't stop sniffing this cream. Go figure. One point off for the price tag, which is a little, uh, high."

"Master perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena created this out-of-the-ordinary scent for Parfums Frederic Malle. In doing so, he's made an abstractly beautiful thing. It's light and crisp like a first snowfall, but it envelops the wearer in warmth. This is one of those scents that will make people think YOU smell good, not that you're wearing perfume. Unconventional and brilliant."

"This is a decent drugstore lip gloss, and the color range is wide and impressive. (Bloom is a pretty pink shade.) But as far as lasting for six hours? Fat chance. While Infallible does last longer than a regular gloss, it does so by being sticky and slightly drying. I'd buy it again, but I won't count on it to provide all-day coverage. "

"OK, first things first: This is $26, which is not inexpensive. But it gets the job done so easily, without requiring tugging at all. It removes eye shadow and mascara with just one swipe, and I use it to get rid of the concealer that gets stuck in my fine lines. I've tried to find a cheaper alternative that makes me as happy, but it hasn't happened yet."
