Don't you wish that instead of getting candy on Halloween, you could trick or treat for beauty products? Imagine coming home with all kinds of eye shadows, lip glosses and creams that you and your friends could trade-how much fun would that be?! Halloween How-To: The Feisty Devil

Get your sexy on this Halloween and transform yourself into the fallen angel. This look can be interpreted in many different ways, but what I loved about this photo was the crazy wig, the soft face and the bold eyes and lips. The goal is to play up your best feature and then exaggerate the heck out of it. Below are some product ideas for this fantasy she-devil look.

FACE: If you really want your lips and eyes to stick out, then your face should be flawless and natural. Even out your skin tone, conceal any redness and apply a foundation that best suits your skin tone.
CHEEKS: Apply a simple, hint-of-tint blush such as Laura Mercier Blush in Wild Bouquet and blend along your cheekbones. A dewy highlighter would also be great for this look.
EYES: Here comes the fun part! You can rock out your eyes with any kind of neutral shadow you choose (since your lips are going to be bright). Then, go crazy with your lashes. You can either get fake white or silver lashes, or you can apply two coats of silver glitter mascara and line your eyes with a metallic liner.
LIPS: Apply a hot pink or a bright red shiny gloss for a seductive, bold mouth.

This recipe is pretty easy to "cook up." You'll need:

Measuring spoons

Medium sized mixing bowl

One Tbsp water

65 drops of red food coloring

Ten drops yellow food coloring

Five drops blue food coloring

Five to Ten Tbsp white corn syrup

Beware, this will stain your clothes.

Step one: Mix all of the food colorings together in the water.
Step two: Slowly stir in the corn syrup until the mixture is just the right thickness.
Step Three: Carefully add "blood" to your skin wherever you want it to appear.

Temptalia's Golden-Girl Halloween Look

I'd planned to feature a bunch of Halloween makeup how-to stories, with myself as the guinea pig. But then I saw what some of you are doing, and heck, you're totally showing me up! CocoChic's looks were amazing, and now here's another from Temptalia. A lot of you probably know Temptalia from her beauty blog, where she shows how to create tons of different looks. We met in person right before San Francisco Fashion Week, and I was stunned to find out that she's completely self-taught.

She says she's not bowled over by this look, but I think it's pretty cool. She used MAC Silver Fog pigment, Carbon eye shadow, and Immodest lipstick, with a bit of "cheap black liquid liner" as well. The gold-toned photos have been Photoshopped, but the silvery one is unretouched. Check it out:

CocoChic Tries Out Two Halloween Looks

Last week, I showed you some Halloween looks from MAC. Well, TeamSugar member CocoChic has been one busy lady-she managed to do not one, but two of these looks. When I first saw these pictures, I thought she'd gone to the MAC counter to get them done. But nope, she did it herself. She called it a "feeble attempt," but I beg to differ! "I started with Crackin Up. I covered my face in pearly white eyeshadow and covered my brows with concealer, my BE foundation, and clear brow gel. I lined my eyes with black pencil. Then, I used a dark brown and champagne colored eyeshadows on my lids and LOTS of mascara on top. I put some pearly pink eyeshadow on my cheeks and nude lipstick on my lips. Then, I took the black eye pencil and attempted to make the cracks the best I could.

"For the Zombie face, I started by covering my brows in concealer. I smudged dark purple shadow on my lids, then took a burgundy shadow and brushed it all over my eyes, my brows, the bridge of my nose, temples, and cheeks. I took the white shadow from the first look and covered the parts of my face that didn't alread have shadow on them. I covered my lips in concealer, put the white shadow on, and lined them lightly with black eye pencil. I smudged it all up so that my lips looked like the rest of the skin around them. I then took the black pencil and made the contour lines under my cheekbones. I smudged that and added some of the dark purple shadow on the sides of my nose, near my eyes. Finally, I took the black pencil and drew on cracks like I did in the first look."

Halloween How-To: Simply Irresistible

Fab is so obsessed with the dancers in Robert Palmer's classic video Simply Irresistible that she asked me to share how to get the hair and makeup look. You don't have to ask me twice, Fab. Here's how to do it up if you're thinking of swaying with a guitar this Halloween.

Fortunately, the hair is ridiculously easy to recreate. If you have straight hair, you're set; if you have wavy or curly hair, use a heated styling iron to make it pin-straight. Pull your hair back into a low, tight bun that rests at the nape of the neck. Then, work a glossing cream such as Citre Shine Shine Miracle Glossing Pomade ($4.49) into your hands; then smooth the hair down. The idea is to make it slick and shiny, so don't worry about going overboard. See, easy!

The hair is simple, but the face makeup is a little more involved. First, start by applying a medium-weight foundation to your face. Don't skimp on this step! The look is a flawless, matte finish-so don't freak if it's a little heavier than what you'd normally wear. (It is Halloween, after all.)

The eye is smoky, with shimmery eye shadows in three brown tones. I recommend using a champagne color, a deep brown color, and one in between. Start by applying concealer or shadow on your eyelids and underneath the browbone; this will provide a base for the color. Then, use a medium-sized shadow brush to apply the "medium" brown color to lids. Next, use a smaller shadow brush to gently press the darkest shadow into the outer and inner corners. Moving on to the champagne color, softly press the shadow from the crest of the eyelid down. Softly buff the lighter colors into the darker ones until they've blended. (You should be moving down and out toward the corners of the eyes.) Finish by lining top and bottom lids with a black eyeliner.

Then you'll need to create purposely bold brows. If you're going for perfection, invest in a brow kit with a small brush and different shades (see my pick below). If it's just for funsies, you can cheat by buying a Wet 'N' Wild pencil and filling in the brows.

Since this is an '80s look, use a plum blush to contour cheeks. If you were a child of the '80s, you'll know what I mean. Instead of applying blush just to the apples of cheeks, you'll want to create a "triangle" by sweeping it back toward your ears. Dust a tiny bit on your temples, too.

You're almost done! Outline lips with a red lip liner. Then, using a lip brush, fill lips in with a red lipstick. Use a clear lip gloss (I recommend MAC Lipglass) to cover the color. You're all set!

Spectacularly Spooky Halloween Looks From MAC

I'm planning some fun Halloween how-tos for later this month, but I couldn't resist showing you these looks. MAC asked its makeup artists to come up with creative Halloween makeup, and received more than 500 face charts.

You can see 25 of them online, where you'll also find lists of which products to use-but considering the techniques needed to achieve these looks, you'd be wise to go to the nearest MAC store for a lesson. These are some of my favorites. Which one would you want to wear?
