hits and misses slideshow. Now that it is officially springtime, have you started to think about how you'll amp up your makeup bag, taking looks straight from the fashion shows as inspiration? Buh-bye to the black lip gloss trend that never really made it anyway, and hello brighter, sheerer shades.

add to the list: mark kissink lipstain. looks like a marker, applies like a stain but with precision. good staying power.
1Thanks for the suggestion, Broward!!
2I like this trend. That Revlon liptint is a great product for the money.
3The Nivea one is great, only issue is that you can't apply too much or else it'll be florescent. Learned that the hard way. I still received compliments though.
4I second the Revlon liptint! I've got two of them
Lovely color
payoff, SPF, and they smell like juice! mmm
5I love lip stain layered with a little clear gloss over it! Stila's Lip Rouge is great, and the CG one isn't bad either (but not nearly as long-lasting).
6Love this look for spring..... LIPSTICK QUEEN has all these gorgeous shades that are sheer they are called "SAINTS" (the sinners are mattes) since everyone's talking coral I bought St. Coral form their website.
7I also discovered MEDIEVAL lip stain. It looked really red but its soooooooooo sheer just like the lips in this picture. Can't wait for the nicer weather!
I love a nice lip staip.
