Feb 8 2009 - 6:15pm Once you get Estelle's Grammy-nominated, super-catchy "American Boy" in your head, it's tough to forget. And tonight, the British rapper and songstress goes for a look you'll probably never forget, with this somewhat futuristic silver and gold look.
While
Jennifer Hudson went with multi-toned eye shadows as well, Estelle takes it to a whole new level with dramatic fake lashes, intense silvers, a hint of gold, and highly-defined eyeliner.

6Well, the eyes aren't bad at all! If the lips were neutral, the entire makeup would look so, so much better. And if the eye shadow were toned down a bit, it would look much better, yet still dramatic.

oh you people hahaha. i think this is fantastic. it works for her. this is a great example of makeup as a central part of an ensemble. it's artistic and dramatic and funky and it works very well with her dress.

14I think her real teeth fell out 15 minutes before she had to leave, so she went into MacGyver mode and sculpted a new set out of butter. I think.

19This is wayyy too much and these are not the best colors for her, some purple or green eyeshadow LIGHTLY applied on her eyelids would have made her eyes stand out (in a good way) way more than that I think...

21She actually changed her makeup for her performance and it looked amazing, she had glittery purple eyeshadow on during the performance with Kanye that looked really good!
