So many of the shades on the runway are hard or impossible to track down — the perfect blue nail polish from Vena Cava, the gorgeous turquoise eyeliner at Tibi, etc. Luckily, though, some designers have realized just how much demand there is for their colors, and are coming out with runway makeup collections. A lot of stuff is still unavailable, but I've put together some of the prettiest samples from the collections that are coming out now.

The matte lip is all over the place this season, and from the looks on the ramps, it'll still be going strong next year. The trend for the past few years has been glossy, so transitioning to a creamy, totally matte lip can be a little hard to wrap your head around. I've put together seven examples of matte done beautifully, with options for real women of all skin tones and color preferences.

You know blue eye shadow is pretty and mainstream again when Jennifer Garner is wearing it. Blue has been trying to make a comeback for a long time now, but those of us whose initial, terrifying thoughts are of Bret Michaels circa 1987 are going to need some convincing. Never fear, my Poisonphobic friends!

Even though these pink nails were shown for a Fall collection, I think Akiko Ogawa's runway manicures would be a great way to welcome springtime. French manicures normally aren't my favorites, but Alisha Rimando created a fresh version by using four colors (Dashing Diva polish in Headliner, Dashing Diva, Cosmopolitan, and Debutante).
