Last night's episode was all about heavy product placement. And looking good while wearing a scarf over your face, apparently. Though I found its events slightly more engaging than last week's snoozefest, it's hard to care about a group of girls running around a big-box store — especially when we've seen this challenge over and over.

Even though it's the season of shorties, last night's episode was less about height (or lack thereof) and more about smize. You read that right, not size, smize. "What exactly is smize," you ask?

Get ready for season, er, cycle 13 of America's Next Top Model. (In my mind I always shout ANTM loudly, Oprah style.) This season there's a big change — take a guess what it is with my quiz — but the rest of the ingredients are all there: Tyra smiles with her eyes, Mr. Jay brings his big silver hair, Miss J continues to be amazingly fabulous, and Nigel is still smokin' hot. Oh ANTM, you've been missed.

Another season of America's Next Top Model has come and gone, and I have to say I'm a little sad to see it go. Sure, it wasn't my favorite cycle. Sure, it was mostly a bore.

Here's the question I often want to ask the models on this show: When it's time for the go-sees, why don't you ditch the slow-moving car and take the subway? Public transit is almost always faster than crawling through a city by car. Won't somebody learn her lesson already?

As the girls explore Brazil, Top Model reaches new heights of cultural insensitivity by having the models create a Carmen Miranda scene while posing in the favelas — shanty towns — of São Paulo. Sigh. Natalie took off, the rest of the contestants created snoozy drama, and sadly, the hair and makeup may have been the most interesting things about this episode.

OK, I know that models are supposed to be ridiculously underweight, but boy, did the judges handle London's slight weight gain poorly. (London is a recovering bulimic. Be like Otis Redding and try a little tenderness, guys.) At least the campiness returned in some form.

You know who has a lot to do with fashion and acting? Clay Aiken! Or not.

It's official: This cycle of Top Model was filmed on location in Snoozeville, USA. As much as I love this guilty-pleasure show, I find this season incredibly boring. Where's the camp?
