Between the ages of 10 and 16, I had a crazy, curly permanent wave with thick bangs that I hair sprayed so heavily that they stood straight up! At the time, I thought I was too cool for school, but looking back I resembled a Bichon Frisé more than anything. Classy.

Yesterday, Hayden Panettiere was looking cute and casual while heading out to lunch with her main squeeze. Sometimes a girl just needs to run out the door and grab a quick bite, even if she is a star. We've seen Jessica Biel and even Jessica Alba sport a sporting cap, but I'm not the baseball hat type of gal—they make the shape of my head look funny.

The two major complaints she hears most frequently are the appearance of unwanted frizz and increased dryness, particularly during the cooler months. And while sometimes the bedhead look is hot, other times, that dryness and frizz can get in the way of having an amazing hair day.

- Curly girly: Break out the curling iron or rollers and transform your locks by adding lose ringlets.
