On Our Radar: Scoop Beach Collection to Debut

Scoop NYC has created an exciting collection for ladies who love designer resort collections but would rather not spend a fortune.

Scoop Beach, set to launch in February, will not just be for vacation getaways. "This is not stuff to [simply] go to the beach in," said Stefani Greenfield, co-owner of the store. "We're going to have this in our stores all year long."

Fifteen Scoop NYC shops, as well as other department stores, will carry the collection, which includes a variety of dresses, woven tops, knitwear, pants, scarves, sandals, handbags, and more. If you don't live near a Scoop, an online store is coming soon. Items ranging from $55 to $445 aren't cheap, but they sure beat, say Prada's resort collection. I'll take that.

Stella McCartney Parties With Her Famous Friends and Opens a New Store in SoHo

Stella McCartney celebrated the opening of her latest boutique with a star-studded soiree in NYC last night. The SoHo outpost drew an impressive crowd of fashionable faces like Naomi Watts, Liv Tyler, and newlyweds David Lauren and Lauren Bush Lauren. The Laurens are fresh off a romantic getaway to Jamaica where David lounged shirtless and Lauren slipped into a bikini while relaxing on the beach with Stella's dad, Sir Paul McCartney.

Following the store opening, the designer led a group of editors to Manhattan's One If by Land, Two If by Sea for a sneak peek at the Stella McCartney Autumn 2012 collection. Funny guy Jason Sudeikis popped by for a quick appearance. Jason's girlfriend, newly short-haired Olivia Wilde, couldn't join since she's prepping for the 2012 award season. Stella likewise has a busy schedule ahead, with Spring Fashion Week kicking off in the Big Apple on Feb. 9.

Shirtless Kevin Bacon Cuts Loose With Tattooed Kyra

Shirtless Kevin Bacon kicked back on the beach in Hawaii yesterday with his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, and their kids, Sosie and Travis. The couple vacationed on the island of Kauai and enjoyed the afternoon lounging under the sun and swimming in the Pacific Ocean. Wearing a mix-and-match bikini, Kyra showed off her many tattoos, with the largest design visible on her lower back.

Kyra and Kevin are expected back in LA later this month for the SAG Awards. She's nominated in the best actress category for her starring role in The Closer - check out the entire list of SAG nominees. Kyra took home a win in the same category at last year's Primetime Emmy ceremony, but we'll just have to wait and see if she adds another statue to her collection. The getaway is a relaxing end to a busy 2011 for the singer, who toured the world, teamed up with Emporio Armani to design a capsule collection, and released her sixth album.
