Does a Product's Color Ever Prevent You From Using It?

The other day I tried an amazing salt soak, but its yellowish coloring floating around in the tub resembled something not quite as nice, if you catch my drift. And then there's the facial serum I recently used that looks a little too much like something you'd likely call your doctor about if it originated from your body. But a product's color and texture is something I can definitely get past because in the long run, as long as I get results, it doesn't really make a difference to me. What about you?

When I put up the cash for a spa treatment, facials are by far my favorite service, but various other friends are die hards for lymphatic drainage massages, seaweed wraps, and blue light therapy. Going to the spa is a real luxury, so the service you choose says something about what you value when you get pampered.

I like to feel better about my often-bothersome skin, so it makes sense that I love facials, and my most stressed out friends are usually the ones who crave massages. When you splurge on a spa service, what kind are you most likely to choose and why?

Do You Always Seem to Run Out of Shampoo Before Conditioner?

You might match your shampoo and conditioner brands, but when it comes to using these shower staples, do you ever seem to run out of one before the other? In Tennessee, Dentists Want to Inject Botox

This week, Tennessee becomes the latest state to allow some oral surgeons to perform Botox injections. Right now, they're doing so to alleviate pain for patients who suffer from temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ), but some dentists are seeking a license to use Botox overall. They argue that dentists are already skilled with facial injections and that being properly licensed could allow them to help patients with noncosmetic needs. Opponents point out that Botox is not FDA-approved for the treatment of TMJ and that some dentists could then start treating patients' wrinkles, too. Do you think dentists should be able to use Botox?

Do You Leave the House Without Makeup On?

According to a new survey by UK chain Superdrug, one out of three British women won't leave the house without applying makeup first.

We just did our own Team Bella survey, and only one of us leaves the house without putting some makeup on. (The other two will skip makeup, but won't go outside without wearing sunscreen.) Personally, I like having concealer and tinted moisturizer as options, but I'm just as comfortable being seen in public with a naked face - again, as long as there's SPF involved. What about you?

How Far Would You Travel to Get a Beauty Service?

The other day I was watching a video in which a British woman said she travels 50 miles to get her eyebrows done. That brow specialist must be truly amazing. This got me to thinking about how far (or long) I'd travel for the perfect cut, color, or spa treatment. It turns out, I'm not all that willing - I get my hair done about two minutes from the office. However, I know more than one West Coaster who makes an extra special visit to the salon when they're out east. How about you? Does a little traffic or miles in between deter you at all from getting a beauty service?

Mini-Hat Headbands: Cute or Cheesy?

I don't know what's behind it, but headbands with tiny hats are popping up all over. The top hat hair accessory trend has been around for quite some time, but the look has branched out to include all sorts of hats, like Urban Outfitters' bowler hat headband ($28), a teeny-tiny ribboned variation of the top hat headband ($18), and a cocktail hat headband ($28). There are plenty more, as well, with Forever 21 offering up some rather sparkly designs. What do you think of this trend? Do you tip your hat to it?
