Katy Perry isn't the only celebrity hopping on the sparkly, encrusted nail bandwagon. Beyonce had similarly wild nails with heart-shaped jewels on them last night at the MTV Europe Awards, and Kristen Bell was sporting iridescent foiled nails recently, too. Beyoncé Gets Sued Over "Fierce" New Fragrance

Apparently, Abercrombie & Fitch is none too pleased that Beyonce's got a new fragrance, because WWD is reporting that Abercrombie just made a federal complaint against her. It is alleging that the singer's upcoming fragrance would be named after her alter ego, Sasha Fierce, and that the name would infringe on their trademark for Fierce, a cologne. In an odd twist, though, Beyoncé's perfume team is saying they have absolutely no intention of naming the fragrance after Sasha. The juiciest piece of info to come out of this whole debacle? In its filing, Abercrombie said it's spent more than $3 million on scent machines to pump its Fierce fragrance through its stores - meaning that they've been committing the olfactory equivalent of subliminal messaging while you're shopping. Are you surprised?

Beyoncé Gets Her Own Fragrance - Think Kanye's Excited?

WWD is reporting that next Spring, we'll all be able to smell like Beyoncé because the pop star just signed a deal with Coty for her own fragrance. "For me," Beyoncé said about the new scent, "fragrance reflects a woman’s attitude and unique sense of style. While I love various perfumes, I haven’t found a scent that truly personifies me as a woman. Working with Coty, I was able to turn my ideal fragrance into a reality by creating an alluring and sophisticated fragrance, one that’s reflective of my inner power." No word yet on what the notes of that inner power might be, but if they're anything like most other celebrity fragrances, the scent will be sweet and floral. Then again, Beyoncé's got a fierce sense of doing things the right way (bringing Taylor Swift onstage to finish her speech, for example), so this scent may very well be as unique and eclectic as her music. Celebrity fragrance sales are down, but will you be on the hunt for this one come next year anyway?

So it's not the best photo of Beyoncé (she sort of looks like a wax figure - have you played our game?), but we're not talking about her deer-in-headlights stare, we're talking about her beauty choices. She wore her hair long and curly with noticeable regrowth (is it a trend?) next to super-huge hoop earrings. Her voluminous hair really took center stage, while her makeup was noticeably soft: dewy skin, arched brows, pink lips - nothing shocking there. What do you all think? Is this an award-winning look, or no?

2009 Oscars: Beyoncé

Purr, I spy Beyoncé's cat eyes. Can you hear her roar? I know I can. Beyoncé (or perhaps Sasha Fierce with those eyes) arrived at tonight's Oscars with the all of the attention drawn to (and on) her eyes. Framing those beautiful brown peepers were perfectly structured brows. Beyond that, her skin was flawless, glowing from every angle. The hair was swept back and ended with long, tight curls. What is your opinion? Are you loving B's look?

2009 Golden Globe Awards: Beyonce

This triple-threat looks triple-gorgeous with an amazing dress, dazzling jewels, and a beautiful smile. Check out her eye shadow: Gradually the colors get warmer and softer as they work their way, and there's even a touch of dark on the bottom lids as well. She still keeps a thin black line around her eyes to outline the shape, but it's the eye shadow that stands out here.

Her hairstyle, on other the hand, is much simpler, pulled into a low ponytail with a side part. Are you on her side here, or would you have preferred something else?

See Beyonce's Hair Throughout the Year

One thing I've noticed about Beyonce: while she tends to keep her makeup on the bronzed side, she definitely keeps it interesting when it comes to her long hair. The talented actress, who was particularly fierce in 2008 (as you'll see in this slideshow), may no longer be a single lady, but she's still got her own style - a true independent woman, you could say. I admire anyone who tries anything different, and these ladies represent the best of the best when it comes to taking beauty risks. Whether you love their looks or not, you've got to give credit to anyone who shows up with multi-colored spikes and a trendy new lip color at one event, and then hair extensions and subdued makeup at another.
