Revlon's Matte Luxurious Color Kohl Eyeliner in Very Violet ($10) is the perfect product for brightening and whitening your eyes. But if you have blue eyes, it also makes your irises pop in a way I've never found with any other liner. In fact, I'm currently on my second one because it's just that good.

Even though it's not waterproof, it does a pretty good job of staying in place - even when waterlining. If they made a long-wearing, waterproof version (hint hint), I'd probably feel compelled to buy a lifetime supply. I also wear contacts, and some other liners make my eyes itch, but this one doesn't irritate them at all. At $10, it may be a little high-priced for a drugstore product. However, because the application is very smooth and matte, you'll find yourself wearing it practically every day.

Just select your eye color, and swipe on whatever shades you'd like for the lid, crease, and liner. Here, I attempted to re-create the palette from Derek Lam's Spring 2010 show. OK, so it's not entirely perfect since the brand doesn't have every hue under the sun, and there are no variations on the actual pupil colors . . . but if you feel like testing out a few shades without the commitment, get your computer's mouse ready to channel your inner makeup artist.

Will These Drops Really Make My Eyes More Blue?

The other day I came across something I'd never seen before: eye drops that promise to make your eye color more vivid - in my case, to make my blue eyes noticeably more blue. They also claim to make your eyes brighter and "give an irresistible sparkle." All the websites selling the drops said they were a "French secret" used by models, actors, and various other cool people.

Intrigued, I decided to give the most affordable brand, Innoxa ($14), a try. They arrived this morning, so I popped them in. I took pictures of my eyes before and after the drops, so if you want to see if they really work, just keep reading.
