It's no secret Britney Spears encountered a few stormy years along the way, but these days, she's looking better than ever. Last night, the singer took her boys to a Broadway show in NYC, sporting some heavier, parted-to-the-side bangs of the swooping variety. Of course, the great thing about midlength to longer fringe is that it can be easily swept away from the face to create a bang-free look. Even short bangs can be hidden with a little wax and/or pins. If you're a bang-wearer, tell us: do you create versatile looks by styling your bangs in different fashions, or are you totally devoted to wearing them the same way each day?

Britney looks so much healthier and happier these days, and her signature long, light blond extensions and tasteful smoky eye were a return to form. Britney Jean Spears is less than a month away from her birthday, and it looks like 27 might be her year. She has a new album, a new perfume, and judging by her appearance with Madonna last night, she's looking so much healthier and happier.

Brit showed off her smile by wearing a highly flattering lipstick shade. Looks like she took a cosmetic cue from Madonna, whose tour makeup is by Shu Uemura. But you don't need to be a pop superstar to get Britney's look - she's wearing Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited lipstick ($23) in BG 940. Gorgeous!

Coming Soon: Britney Spears Hidden Fantasy

Don't call it a comeback: Fresh on the heels of the launch of Britney Spears' Believe fragrance comes word of yet another-Hidden Fantasy, which will be in stores in January. According to the perfumer, Rodrigo Flores-Roux, “The original inspiration for this fragrance comes from Britney’s love for white florals, vanilla, and luscious desserts. Drawing from a cherished memory of my own, I built this fragrance with a heart of sensual jasmine and sweet Napolitano cake.”

Indeed, Hidden Fantasy ($55 for 3.3 oz) is a very saccharine scent, with discernible notes of Mexican vanilla bean, orange and clove. If you like the singer's other fragrances, you'll probably appreciate that it smells a little more grown-up than her previous scents. Which is not to say it's sophisticated by any means, but a true Britney fan will not be disappointed.

Miss Britney Jean Spears is back! At last year's disastrous VMAs, she looked lost, hurt, and confused. But last night, Brit picked up a few awards, giving her plenty to smile about.

What a difference a year makes! I haven't covered Britney's style very much over the last year, because let's face it: She's had much more important things to worry about than how she looks. With that said, though, she seems much more confident and healthy these days, and if looking this coiffed and glossed is part of her comeback, I'd say she's doing a fine job. Would you?

The First Celebrity Relaunch of 2008: Britney Spears Curious Heart

Although Britney Spears may not be making the best choices in her personal life, she sure hasn't skipped a beat when it comes to her fragrances. It seems like just yesterday that believe launched, and now we are already seeing something new from her. However, let's be clear about one thing. This "new" scent, Curious Heart ($49.50), isn't really new - it's a limited-edition version of her older juice Curious, with a tattoo-inspired bottle and a modified name.

Here's the gimmick: When you purchase a bottle, you receive a membership card which directs you to the website. There, you enter a password to become eligible to win various prizes each month. I'd say that's some pretty clever marketing from Britney's people - especially throwing the word "heart" in the title right before Valentine's Day. But with her personal life in disarray, I keep wondering whether this is enough to pique shoppers' curiosity.
