Summer 2007 Giorgio Armani Bronze Mania Collection

The 2007 summer collection from Giorgio Armani Beauty is called Bronze Mania. It was inspired by the colors of the glorious beaches, vast sands and bright prominent flowers of the Mediterranean. Comprised of golds, chocolates, reds and mauves, everything has a metallic sheen to make your summer skin glisten.

The limited edition collection includes a new Shine Lipstick ($25) two new Lip Shimmers ($26), a redding brown Maestro Mascara ($26), three new Golden Eye Shadows ($24), Bronze Mania Face and Body Gel ($80), a double cream blush compact called Bronzing Face Duo ($65) and two shades of cream to powder Summer Foundation ($55).

The last product in the collection is the Gold Mediterranean Palette ($85). The top level includes four eye shadows formulated with mother-of-pearl in gold copper brown, orange gold, nude gold beige and sparkling gold earth and the bottom level houses a sheer powder bronzer. All of the products are an absolutely stunning and worthwhile summer indulgence!

Luminizer is the perfect tool to spruce up your makeup look and give your skin a healthy, natural-looking glow in seconds. The question is: Should you use a liquid luminizer or the powder stuff to get the best results? It turns out, both come with varying benefits. According to celebrity makeup artist Desirae Cherman (who has worked with stars like Mindy Kaling and Jamie-Lynn Sigler), powder looks more natural because it doesn’t have as much pigment as liquid does. Plus, it's easier to apply because it doesn't require as much blending. But that shouldn't hinder you from using liquid to get your glow. Just Cavalli Fall 2012

Roberto Cavalli may have mixed things up a bit for the Fall 2012 showing of his bridge line, Just Cavalli, but the collection wasn't without the designer's signature rock 'n' roll sensibilities. Models were outfitted in super-skinny trousers, mixed-media-style frocks (think houndstooth and ocelot, zebra-print and Aztec zigzags), and playfully sexy Lurex tops, lending a vibrant, lighthearted '60s spin on an otherwise rocker-cool runway show. Cavalli did bring some new silhouettes into the picture, however - he showed sleek, slouchy patent-leather pants in hues of nude, red, and gray and also introduced a tailored, oversize menswear-inspired coat with leather lapels. I love color as much as the next gal, but there's also so much appeal in a classic black and white color palette. This look may seem predictable, but it has as many variations as the number of patterns it can be added to. From scripted print to a kilim or even barcode, black and white can go from modern to historic in the blink of an eye.

Start your pattern matching with this gorgeous Kilim Sofa (inquire for price) from Andrew Martin. Its vibrant pattern would make this the centerpiece of a room. Add a pop of color with bright pillows and use tray tables, solid wool rugs, leather poufs, and bronze chandeliers for a travel-inspired sanctuary of a space.

A long-time favorite of mine is the Manuscrit Rug. ($3,400) from Design Within Reach. Architect, designer, filmmaker, and writer Joaquim Ruiz Millet created this rug in 2003, and the imagery on its woolen surface is actually a romantic poem that he wrote in his native Catalan.
