Want a Port pout? Cargo is betting you do. The City's starring gossip girl is getting her own signature hot pink lipstick, called Eve Pinky, in the brand's PlantLove line of products. But this stick's not just about Whitney, lovely as she is; the shade also has a charitable side. For every tube of Eve Pinky sold, $2 goes to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It's a cute shade, and an even better cause - one I wouldn't mind parting with a few hard-earned dollars for. So be on the lookout for it - Eve Pinky is available at Sephora starting this week.

Beauty Products Inspired by Sex and the City

Can't wait for the movie premiere? These lipsticks and nail polishes have the same names as the main characters on Sex and the City.

Stila Lip Color in Miranda is a creamy, shiny coral lipstick; it was so popular in 2007, it won In Style's Best of Beauty Buys. Cargo PlantLove Lipstick in Sam ($20) is a deep red lipstick that exudes sexiness and confidence, just like powerhouse Samantha Jones - and Stila SPF 20 Shine Lip Color in Charlotte ($22) is a sheer orange shade with the shine of a gloss and the creaminess of a lipstick.

Sarah Jessica Parker and famed manicurist Deborah Lippmann collaborated to create a soft, cotton-candy pink nail lacquer called Sarah Smile ($15) during the heyday success of the sitcom, and Duri Cosmetics recently released a bluish-red, nail polish in Sex in the City ($5). Trial-Sized Beauty: Three Ways to Take Color for a Spin

It's always fun to play with new makeup colors and products, but sometimes it's hard to shell out the cash for a color when you're just not sure how it's going to look when you leave the store. If you don't live near a major shopping mall or a Sephora, it's even harder to make color choices online. To help alleviate this problem, I've picked out three pretty beauty sets that allow you to try a range of colors for each product before you decide to splurge on the full-sized version.

Thinking about experimenting with a turquoise blue eye shadow, but not quite sure if you can pull it off? Try these Cargo Eyeshadow Color Cards ($24). This set contains 28 single-use sliding tins that can slip right into a pocket or a purse and allow you to test out six different shades of Cargo eye shadow colors. Cargo Goes High-Def With blu_ray

Last month I mentioned that Cargo is coming out with blu_ray, a new collection of makeup specifically intended for people who have to go on high-definition TV broadcasts. Because HDTV is so much sharper than regular television, it has the unfortunate tendency to display every pimple, scar, wrinkle, and imperfection in glorious detail. Hence the demand for makeup that provides full coverage without looking cakey.

blu_ray attemps to solve this problem by using irregularly sized particles to diffuse and soften light, along with pigment that reflects light from different angles. The collection includes a liquid mattifier ($24), oil-free pressed powder, mascara ($20), a peachy pink blush/highlighter ($27), and mint-infused lip gloss quad ($29). Each product can be bought separately, or if you can't get enough of them, they're available in a good-value set ($59). It's not the biggest collection Cargo's ever done, but it's the first makeup I've seen that's specifically being developed for a new television technology.

Inside Sephora Headquarters for Holiday

I just returned from what would definitely be heaven for all of the beauty product junkies out there. Sephora was hosting a merchandise fair for its employees, so everybody could learn about all of the different brands. And if that's not enough, the employees were able to try out all kinds of products and treatments to get dolled up for their holiday party.

Oh, dang! You know I had to sneak in. So I did!

Inside, it was crazy-in a good way. Bliss was offering facials, ghd was styling hair, Urban Decay was applying glitter, and everybody was in a great mood. Lots of people were re-creating the holiday looks from the Sephora catalog, and it was really cool to see them come to life.

Vanessa Dunn from the Sephora Pro Team was applying false eyelashes, so when she asked if I'd like to try out a pair, I didn't think twice. I went for the black feather lashes because they're so over-the-top. Vanessa first measured the lashes, then ran some glue along the edge, and used tweezers to apply them right above my lashline. Voila! What do you think? (Katie was mesmerized.)

April, a makeup artist with Cargo, gave me the scoop on some Spring 2008 product launches. Cargo is coming out with HD Foundation, which is meant to erase tiny imperfections and make you ready for high-definition closeups. The company is also coming out with Texas Lash, a mascara that gives bigger, longer lashes. (You can see it on my lower lashes.) Both of these products will be out in February, so I'll try to get my paws on them to tell you more about them.

Bellissima! Cargo GlossyGreetings

I've been a sloth about sending out holiday cards, but this new discovery might change all of that. Cargo has come out with GlossyGreetings, a two-piece collection of paper goods. The cool part is that they come with a little dab of lip gloss-an unexpected and fun twist on the greeting concept.

GlossyGreetings are available in five-packs of cards cards ($10) and gift tags ($7.50). What's more, Cargo is donating 100% of the profits to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. So if you've been slackin' when it comes to correspondence and wrapping gifts, you know what to do.
